Your Alpine Bloom sweater is a marvellous win! Loved hearing about the garter heel sock pattern. That's the kind of stuff I enjoy finding out. What's in a pattern that was interesting (or not) and results. I love the Wisdom of the Moon shawl. I guess a lot of people may be scared off for having to do Latvian braids or colourwork when they really shouldn't be. I won't deny those are the fiddly parts of the shawl pattern but the rest is easy knitting and it's lovely. Hopefully more to see will turn up on Ravelry now that more people become aware of it, and it is a free pattern.

The Shawl is so terrific, I can't wait to finish it! I'm enjoying every section so much, Latvian braids are so easy and effective in so many projects. Do you happen to be the designer of the shawl?

No. I'm not the designer of the shawl. I've knit one and found it enjoyable as an end product as much as I enjoyed making it. I have freelanced a few things with Latvian braids and I'm planning another project with them. I'm even thinking about making some socks with a combination of Latvian braids and dip stitches in the leg.

Your sweater is wonderful!! And you look so good in it. I was going to mention that you look like you lost some weight. (Don’t know if I can say that?). I love seeing your snap bag, the doctors looking like one. They are so colorful. I always enjoy when you are at the trailer and you go outside and bring us along.
