When I duplicate sprites, they don't have legs animation( only the first one does). What am I doing wrong?
@mylahrussell130311 күн бұрын
i had this issue too, if you parent (select all, CTRL P) everything together before you duplicate, everything should move together... or it did for me at least
@Arrietty3d10 күн бұрын
Yes, you need to parent everything to the main soot sprite body with crtl P, then when you duplicate it the animation should work properly (sorry I forgot to mention this in the video)

Wow this is incredible! As a beginner 2d animator, I'm glad you're paying some love to the strengths of 2d animation--if only Hollywood would treat it with some respect! Teaching myself animation has made me respect 3D more, too, as i learn what goes into it! Super amazing work here!

why not just use the Line Art modifier?
@Arrietty3dАй бұрын
@@HarryMcKenzieTV Good point, well back when I made this video I didn't really know much about grease pencil since I wasn't really using it (I was quite shocked when I discovered just how easy it was to add line art 😂) So yes, it's much easier to just add a line art modifier, but the solidify modifier method is also useful in some cases.
