The knife design is beautiful. It is a wonderful work of art.

If after it is finished the knife still needs more retention in the sheath, it there a way to fix that?

Wet form it again or add a rivet

Great set up and nice to see other shops. With me moving and probably building I’m trying to figure out my new layout. I keep debating on an outside forging area

Man I have one of the blades you made and I’ve had it for around 4 years and sadly I’ve recently broke the tip of the blade off I apologize for destroying such a beautiful work of art doing something stupid

You know, if you watch the leather youtubers, you did about every step wrong. That said, this goes to show there is no right way because the end result was great. I was impressed. I have to admit when you trimmed the sheath with the band saw my head almost exploded, but after it was trimmed with the beveller, it looks wonderful. Nice work without a million dollars in specialty leather tools.

I need to learn how to make knives the way you do it. My way takes hours. Does the magic anvil just do that every time you throw stuff at it or is there some pre-programming involved?

I’ve been doing much the same way for years but feel like I can still learn from watching others. Your steady hand and confidence is inspiring and the final product looks great. What type of thread was that? My wax threads all seem to break a lot and I don’t know if it’s me or them.

Thank you. This is the waxes thread from Tandy. Its very strong and won’t break when being pulled on. I’ve had others that break when I pull real hard.
