I'm sure all of this plays a role, but I think the simpler explanation is that right wingers are less interested in asking questions. They therefore have a smaller pool of answers, and so are less divided. Leftists question _everything,_ because they understand that the world is complicated and things like common sense, received wisdom, tradition, revalation, and what-a-bloke-in-the-pub-told-me probably aren't good guides to reality or action. Unfortunately, that many people asking that many questions about every subject under the sun is going to lead to a large diversity of answers, which it is harder to unite around. It's also easier to unite around the status quo or some historical status quo (real or imagined), as the right does, because even when the status quo is awful, it is at least known. Whereas the left tend to aim towards possible futures which, by their nature, can't be fully worked out in advance. So again, you end up with a greater diversity of possible futures being proposed, and it is harder to unite around those.

Both the left and the right have the same problem - their heads are often so busy with theoretical garbage that they don't notice actual reality. There is only one sane approach to policy - pragmatism - trying to balance short, medium and long term interests. Both sides are fans of "fixes" that makes things worse for the sake of the optics, eg. suppression of sexuality, handouts for the poor.

Before I watch this I will explain why left has problem with infighting.
