Those little rubber things meant to catch debris at the top of the panel might cause some of the speed issues, I have to replace the ones in my driver door because It’s so hard to crank.

I'd want door locks. It's convenient.. Especially if you park it in the street and don't feel like locking 1-3 key holes every single time. And stretching over to unlock the door for a passenger when you forget

One of the many good things about TJ is not having to deal with power window issues and or wires/plugs to disconnect when removing doors.

That's a good looking 4 wheeler. My friend has one exactly like that and he beat the living crap out of it! And when I say beat I mean beat. The thing was held wide open till it hit rev limiter 😂😂. Dumping the shifter at full throttle, grears grinding. And the thing doesn't burn a drop of oil, starts right up no problem, and runs great! Now that is what I call good engineering! So glad he has a good old Honda! Still runs great till this day! 🤘🤘👍

Hey! Great video first off. I am new to working on anything at all but I have my old TRX 250 that I've had since I was 7 or so and I wanted to get it back up and running. My question is, is it worth cleaning the carburetor out or just buying a new one also I can't seem to get the seat off any tips for that?
@landoneshbach2826
@landoneshbach2826 4 жыл бұрын
Lily Wilson Definitely try and clean the carb that is already on it. I tried buying a new aftermarket carb and it did not work well for me at all! To get the seat off, there is a lever at the left side rear of the four wheeler, you pull it up towards you and it should come off.

Landon, you might try straightening the cable/actuator arm. It looks like that curve might be causing it to bind. I’m thinking if you’d mount the motor assembly in a manner that allows more of a straight line with the crank, it will move a lot quicker. You’ve done a nice, clean job. Great work!

The kit comes with spacers so you can move the manual crank spline in towards the door so it doesn't stick out as much since it's not used anymore. But you do have to be careful that you don't push it into the space the window needs to move freely.
