I have a Pa5X and it's brilliant. Love your playing but IMPO this demo would have been better if the instrument volume was a bit louder and the camera was focused on the instrument display. None of the text on either the display or the buttons are readable. Thank you for the demo. Cheers Luke from Victoria, Australia.

I've gotta say, 9:15 is one of the most beautiful arpeggiated piano endings I've ever heard. 👏 Was that from some famous piece, or were you just improvising?

Hi Chris, I have a question. How do you apply arpeggio for the left hand using a style? Many songs require that arpeggio and I am trying to figure it out on the Yamaha PSR SX700. Thank you. I enjoy your videos. Rocco

Hallo, your videos are made with high pro and represent a precious resource to all Yamaha Psr sx 920 or 900 owners. Seeing the great functions very useful like chord looper for example and quality of astonishing voices and styles, I'd like to buy Psr sx 920 at soon as possible!!! Many compliments to your great job! 👏👏👍👍😉😉

We have a similar piano in my church, actually, back in the day I helped shopping for it and I think it's a P-115. I don't think I have ever seen the quick manual as typically other people play the piano. So do the controls work in a similar way? Like if I want to combine the main piano with a synth pad (it's the last sound under the strings button), I have to fist find the synth pad and then it remembers it and if I push the piano and strings buttons at the same time I get the piano & synth pad combination? I was trying to figure it out the other day and I failed miserably 😄

Hi @JosefFoti! 😊 Yes, I believe there was a Quick Operation guide for the P-115 and other models in that series. For the P-225, it seems Yamaha has moved away from including it in the box-it’s only available online now. I think the key combinations are still necessary to keep the design sleek and uncluttered. That said, I’d definitely recommend trying out the Yamaha Smart Pianist app (it’s free to use!). It’s such a game-changer for managing operations on these pianos. The app offers graphical displays and an intuitive interface that makes it super easy to blend voices, adjust volumes, and save your setups. It’s also great for combining sounds like the piano and synth pad effortlessly. Thanks so much for your support, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions-always happy to help! 🎹😄

Will ePianos be marketing the altered FC7 swell pedal? It has an additional left and right footswitch fitted (a DIY job presently but I suspect punters will want a ready-made one!)I have Googled but can't yet find them - I am guessing they are extremely new.

@ePianoscouk 13 күн бұрын
Hi @teocastelvecchi, To add or change the reverb settings on the Yamaha P-225: Activate Reverb Settings: Hold down the [METRONOME] and [RHYTHM] buttons simultaneously. Select a Reverb Type: While holding the buttons, press one of the keys designated for reverb types on the keyboard. The specific keys correspond to the four reverb types: C1: Recital Hall C#1: Concert Hall D1: Chamber D#1: Club Adjust Reverb Depth: While still holding the buttons, use the [+]/[-] buttons to increase or decrease the reverb depth. Let me know if you have more questions! 🎹😊

Strangely, the SX600 has, in the menu, a MIDI set up section. It looks as though it was the bit that Yamaha could not erase from the "borrowed program". They might as well have thrown in a couple of midi plugs as the thing seems to have midi in the system board. I might also add that the Manual is absolutely useless, does not cover even playlists, or that you can run styles from the USB. There is probably a lot of things that the 600 can do that even the manufacturers albeit Yamaha or their contractor, know nothing of. I honestly think it is worth opening up the case to see what unused sockets are on the system board. The good thing about it, is the keyboard, which I find better than my Genos2. However they are not well made on the edges, but nothing that a Dremel grinder could not solve.

Can someone familiar with both the Yamaha sx920 and Genos 2 comment and confirm if there is a major discernible difference in both the sound quality of individual presets and especially the backing tracks. The quality or lack thereof I would appreciate from a seasoned accomplish musician and seasoned professional's opinion. It has been my unfortunate experience the general public is unable to detect quality sounds as opposed to thin cheesy sounds. I was told by a salesperson the SX920 has incorporated all quality upgrades from the Genos 2 including super articulation. Unfortunately there are no stores in my area where I would have access to hear the keyboards live and youtube is subject to may variables to evaluate quality. Please confirm what are the particular benefits of the Genos 2 that is lacking on the SX920 that would justify paying an additional $3,000.00. I prefer quality to quantity and my requirements are a few quality sounds and realistic backing tracks. Thank you

When you increase the price of the keyboard, it changes the functionality and the available voice and the quality of the voices.
