I grew up on the EC reprints in the 1990s. Just read through Shiver. The stories build up quite nicely but the endings are not quite there. I was invested in the time machine story but it ended so abruptly. The ornament story was good but readers deserved to see the ungrateful adult children meet a fulfilling fate. I'll continue supporting the anthologies though.

Thundercats/powerpuff girls is going to be a great crossover in 2025 then talk plans on a godzilla minus one powerpuff girls crossover series if is it a 5 or 6 issue series.

As someone who doesn't like the comedic buffoonery of the MCU, im pleasantly surprised with how good AAA is. When they don't lean into the comedy, the mcu is actually pretty good. It's rare though.

Regarding Rook. I've seen this before in a Raymond Feist fantasy book 20yrs ago but the character was the Lord of the Eagles and wore armor resembling an eagle and there was a Lord of the Tigers which his armor was stripped and resembled a tiger. This last issue of Weatherman was electrifying ⚡️ Lots of emotions, especially with that last twist. Can’t believe I have to wait a whole month to see how it all ends. Onto the more spoiler aspects: I think this issue fixed my main problem of it not focusing much on Nathan/Ian, because of how it focuses the idea of that Ian was/has always been that person he tried to disguise himself as. And seeing Amanda’s arc come in full circle with how bitter she was with Nathan only to want to save him at the end and give him the life he couldn’t have. I’m gonna miss this series so much and I hope to see it get an adaptation soon

Well johns failed upwards. He promised wb he could " fix" the movies and he failed to deliver. Big time. Now hes back at comics and his professional relationship with wb/dc is coming to an end and his biggest thing he has is an image imprint.

Luckily we still not one, but two issues left of Weatherman before it all wraps! This issue was an action set piece with a decent amount of gnarly kills and tension. I do only have one small critique is that I wish we can delve more into Ian/Nathan a bit more and how their psyche comes into play more. Hopefully next issue can bring us more time with them before the finale. Other than that, I’m excited and sad to how it ends!

Momoko is still growing, she is actually not a comic artist she actually wants to do Fine Art but has been getting opportunities in the comic industry. That explains why her art is wildly different from everyone else in the comic industry. She reminds me a lot of Yoshitaka Amano, he does Fine Art but started his career doing cover work in manga and doing artwork for Final Fantasy video games.

I'm with you 100% on Weatherman! I thought that we'd never get the conclusion. Need to do a full re-read now! It's the perfect blend of originality, humour, pace and great artwork.

Honestly, I had similar experiences with The Weather Man, felt like I was the only one hyping it up, but I’m happy to know that there are others that feel the same love that I do. I’m so glad that’s back and able to finish its story, hopefully on a high note.
