Men of God, this is the most amazing, truthful, freeing, articulated and supported, explanation of the security of the believer I have ever heard! First, I thank you for the effort you put into, essentially, supporting and documenting your understanding of this most important topic. Secondly, I have never listened to or was never aware of your podcast, and I am now a loyal subscriber as a result of this work. I pray the Lord continue to impart wisdom and understanding of the scriptures to you both, so that you can continue to present God's unadulterated, unapologetic, truth, as He laid forth in scripture. I thank the Lord for you both and I look forward to your future podcasts. Lastly, I thank you both for your commitment to the Lord and presenting His truth in a world of confusion. May God bless you both and your families! Stay strong in the Lord!

Look, I'm listening to this for the first time a year after it came out. And I'm wondering what took them so long to finally say out loud to these "woke" embracing churches "You don't believe the Gospel". Yeah. Duh. I'm a baby Christian, sort of, because I'm housebound and it took me forever to find a church (6 years after my salvation!). Why? Because it's downright difficult to find a church that BELIEVES THE GOSPEL to begin with! I'm sure there was a day when MacArthur was new at Grace Community Church when that wasn't so. I was around in the 60's and 70's when my parents got caught up in the Jesus Movement. I did not agree nor wish to be a part of it, but back then you did what your parents told you to do or else. I tried my best. But I didn't believe it. And the moment I had a chance, I renounced it. Now at 60+ years of age I've been saved for 8 years, and I've been waiting for ANYONE to say that out loud. THANK YOU. I wish the ones who don't believe the Gospel would just stop playing church and stop calling themselves Christians. Because they are not Christians!

There is so much packed into these episodes. I love it. It is a rare podcast that I can come back and listen again months later, and it's almost new. I catch things I hadn't understood before, or conviction hits for different parts. Thank you for doing these amazing podcasts, Darryl and Virgil. Brothers in Christ. I need to reinstate reading the Valley of Vision daily!

Reparations is not just about slavery. Reparations is about apartheid and red lining. Reparations is about REPAIR!! Reparations had nothing to do with WHITE PEOPLE. Reparations is a charge against America. Why, because America was the only country to tell the world that, "All men are created equal..." and "We the people.." This is what these two men dismiss.(that's why they only want to talk about only slavery) This they thought was easy to make their case, well it doesn't. Remember, Enslaved males fought in every war that America had and actually with out them, this country would have loss the Civil War. These two men are asking the ancestors of slavery to let it go. They said, with out knowing maybe the enslavers ask forgiveness. We know that is not true, because the Bible tell us if you do something wrong in public, then you must apologize in public. They showed the enslaver sympathy and empathy by paying them REPARATIONS OR REPAIR. The enslaved are the only Americans to started freedom with NOTHING. These are people who spend 246 years enslaved. The enslaved ask this nation from 1865 until now. Like brother Coates(The Case for Reparations, author from the Atlantic). Enslaved ask for repair when they were coming out of enslavement. So, their hold augment doesn't hold any water. This country is just wrong and repair is owed. They paid the enslaver for loss property, but the Black enslaver they gave them nothing. I don't understand these two guys. STOP, TRYING TO REWRITE HISTORY! STOP BRING GOD INTO AMERICA'S EVIL. God isn't please with this country trying to justify their evil through his name after enslavement. Read Dr. Frederick Price on the subject, race and racism. He comes from a spiritual perspective. Check KZbin!! Please, Thomas Sowell, a Marxist!

God's Word is truly filled with light, truth and justice. We undervalue His Word greatly. The answers to so many things in life are in it. This podcast proves that to the max. And what is said about Christ forgiving us, and paying our debt for sin and how that is connected to this and self-professing Christians who are angry about legal outcomes: "And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors." Matthew 6:12 If we do NOT forgive, then if God forgives us as we did NOT forgive, that really isn't a good thing. This was so wonderfully convicting.

I've been wanting to say this for some time. I'm hoping to be gracious in saying it. When I hear of any Christian fighting for the "rights" afforded through law in this land, all I can come up with is "they're not Christian". I've said it before privately, and what I get back is "judge not". I am judging as far as differentiating. But God is the only one who does the final judgment. But here's the thing: God has told us in His word that all these fleshly things (CRT, LGB etc, CT) are of the world. We are NOT to love the world. We are to love our neighbor and even our enemy. But never MORE than we love God. If someone isn't being incredibly convicted yet are fighting for all these worldly ideas, one should at least bring the question up "Are you saved?" When a "Christian" is consistently not behaving like a Christian and that is the pattern of their life, that's when to question their claim. I can sin but not for long. The Holy Spirit in me becomes very grieved.

Love this- God knew I needed my question answered and with the bible God used you gentlemen to do it. BLM and racism was obvious to me but without the history of Deconstruction's origins, I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it- I just knew it wasn't necessary, or as the young say "It's extra" LOL. The Holy Spirit really gives discernment if we want to listen to it. I do think it is fascinating that the ones who want to introduce the concept never share its origins- if it's such a great idea, do tell us. We cannot be so gullible anymore to trust even church leadership. Roman 3:4 says "Let God be true and every man a liar." Thank you again for a wonderful deep dive into this topic. God bless.

Slavery won’t die or remain buried because Booker T Washington was right and is still - many make a lucrative living off of selectively forgetting that American slavery is completely dependent on African chiefs who kidnapped enslaved and traded fellow Africans to slave traders - secondly all ethnic groups enslaved other ethnic groups and even those from their own community As a rescued repentant redeemed and called believer who happens to be black - Simply tell The Truth - Jn 17:17, Jn 1:14, Jn 14:6 and like Dr Thomas Sowell bring the receipts

Just caught up with this one today. Heard another podcast, a recent one (November 2023) and you mentioned this one, which I missed somehow. I thought that you did an excellent job of slowing the roll on this crazy topic. You all started slowly, defining things as you went along. I found it helpful that you restated those definitions now and then. I just wanted to share an observation from about 35 thousand feet: after listening to so many of your amazing podcasts, looking into all these "sudden" new ideologies (or so it seems to many of us older folk) including now the war going on with Israel and Hamas -- it's almost like God has ordained that with the help of insane C19 lockdowns, that sin would be sped up for everyone. So that all people groups get to the same level of sin in most areas. You know, in preparation for the end. Just a thought. I was born in the boomer generation. We really started the ball rolling with the sxl revolution, then it was the homosxl revolution now it's a depraved mind. It makes me so sad to see these things happening, but the speed at which they are happening really makes me wonder if it isn't ordained by God to speed things up so they are going fast enough the entire book of Revelation (or at least from chapter 4-19) can happen in a mere 7 years.

"You were bought with a price" scripture comes to mind. ~ A poor-in-melanin sister in Christ. Here it is in the non-arminian standard: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 New American Standard Bible 1995 19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

CRT is a works based salvation. Meanwhile here in Australia, there are some teachers in the Anglican church, preaching a 'salvation by decolonisation' theology. They preach a hate filled gospel where the only path to salvation is by atoning for the mortal sin of colonisation by the ethnic cleansing of all non-indigenous peoples from the land. It's truly a doctrine of demons.

This episode is so relevant and edifying and as one who only recently discovered the JT Podcast, I intentionally skipped over this episode rationalizing that it was dated Aug 2021 and all the mask/lockdown stuff isn't as polarizing as it once was. But I listened in spite of the date and description and I'm so glad I did. In light of this, it may be worthwhile to eliminate the first 3 items in the description. Thank you for all you do.

Sorry but if you don’t support BLM - you’re not a Christian - it’s as simple as that. BLM has a desire for racial equality and the end of police brutality. Those are good things which all of us must desire (and yes I’m addressing just white folk here). Micah 6:8O explains it well: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” And, an attack against an image-bearer on the basis of skin shade is an attack against the Creator. I think white Christians especially want to cling to their privilege which Tim Keller has said amount to 1million dollars over a lifetime. We need the systems to change and the gospel changed to be less white / European centric
