Hi! So guys I went there in October with my family and we bought a gold apartment but it was so crappy we complained got upgraded to 2 hotel room in the shoreline hotel (my 2 brother in one room and me and parents I other ) and it was a way better experience than If we stay in the apartment so I will now always recommend a hotel as it’s way better than apartments especially the shoreline hotel where I stayed even if it is abit more expensive it’s worth it it makes the experience better so do it it’s worth it ❤❤❤❤ srry this is so long! ❤❤❤❤

We booked directly with Therme. The tickets, flights, and hotel for one night, all for four people, cost around £600.

@ likewise. Love reading about edt every weekend. I have started to vlog my adventures as been doing day trips for several years like Michael to Ireland and Scotland mainly. My day I try to do 2 fit in 2 things , for example walking tour and museum. Plus always have dinner book somewhere. I have only had 1 real problem this year when we went to Belfast (didn’t blog trip but wished I did)… flight was delayed by 2 hours going and I had a food tour booked. Was late for the trip but their customer service was so helpful. We missed only 1 stop but the tour guide took as their after the tour finished for the others. Happy travelling!

It's not really on a par with lodges we have stayed in at Haven or Park Holidays, but it is one of the nicer accommodations there. It doesn't feel overly deluxe, I would have called it a beachside lodge.

Its the lack of the mini fridge that I say is the biggest different although for many it may be the air con that some super rooms have but some don't from what I understand

Hi, what a lovely voice you have! I fly and live not far from Eurairport/basel and just wanted to say that if you take the wrong exit NO HASSLE; just take the lift or escalator, go to the departure floor,. On the right hand side, is France, on left is Switzerland. just walk to through to whichever country (no customs, just a sign) and tht's it. Take the lift or escalator back down to arrival floor.

Most of the caravans we have stayed in, that were company owned, had sofa beds. But they weren't the most comfortable, and they were in the lower grades, as the higher grades are more likely to have free standing furniture.

We stayed here last week it was clean and tidy and for 50 quid for the week was an amazing deal.my little boy loved it.the only down side was no bath he hates showers so we had to fill up the shower tray for him to clean

We take a small paddling pool when we stay in caravans that only have showers. If you don't blow it up fully, so it's a bit more flexible, you can then put it in the bottom of the shower. 🙂

I was just thinking the caravan looked like a Haven saver caravan and then you said it. It's exactly the same layout as the Haven Saver caravan I stayed in at Devon Cliffs but they had a cabinet under the TV

really pleased to see your videos back i've recently been to haven church farm with the grandkids first time i've been to haven for about 10 years and i was quite disappointed only managed to get 1 session of swimming booked virtually all the activities we're fully booked and we thought the few we did manage to do were really expensive not many free activities included also the arcade was cash less which sort of took a bit of fun out of things as you had to charge a plastic card to use most of the machines are all havens like this now if so think i'll go back to parkdean xx

We had a similar problem there. And their pool is tiny so spaces are limilted. If you can get on a ranger walk, it's great because of the lagoon. But places went really quickly. The resorts are doing less and less included activities, even Butlins is pushing a lot of the pay extra facilities now.

@KarionTravelling we went as its near to where we live and didn't want to travel too far the guy at the booking place said the seaways and nerf wars are normally booked upto 6 months in advance so we had no hope and owners are given priority x

Unlike at Haven, Park Holidays don't state that decking/veranda is guaranteed on their silver caravans, even on the silver+. Non of the Park Holidays ones we have stayed in, have had decking.

So is there no WiFi in the gold caravans? I've just booked gold and didn't even realise there's an issue with WiFi, I have a child with disabilities that needs WiFi connection for he's medical app. Should I cancel?

It would depend on the park and the location of the caravan. They don't have WiFi as standard, I believe it can be purchased in some caravans, or if you're near the main facilities, you can tap into theirs. At some parks, even my basic phone signal was very patchy and inconsistent. If WiFi is essential, I would check directly with the park, as only they will know for sure. It would be a shame to cancel if they can work something out for you.

@cazanddazontour3585 we used Bolt/Uber. A local warned us not to bother with the yellow/blue taxis outside as they would rip you off. We got outside and then booked. It took 10 to 15 minutes and cost £3-6 depending on the time of day. I took a few small notes from the travel agent for tips and snacks but found most places accepted my Revolut card.

For this trip, we just went and visited Therme. I plan to visit again for a few days and go to Brasov and Bran Castle. The gothic towns of Transylvania look stunning and have been on my wish list for a long time.
