I've read Where the Lost Wander and What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon, and they were both 5 star books for me last year. Definitely give her a try. Side note, it makes me depressed that The Great Alone is sometimes considered historical fiction,.considering I was born in 1976 🤣

Just finished Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher and it was a 5 star read for me. It is an older book, but the first time I have read it, so cozy. Friendship, new beginnings, tragedy, love, lost family, found family, wholesome, cisis of faith, oh my goodness, it's got it all! If you have not read this one, put it on your TBR for December 2025 ❤

Libraries in many areas are underfunded and it’s sad. It’s unfortunate that also many libraries are vandalized and books are mistreated. Was a librarian when I was 22 and quit 2 years in, the amount of parents who expected me to laugh and giggle as they explained they let their crotch goblins destroy a book and refused to pay the fee. Or the old, I don’t like book markers so I just fold the page 👹
