@@rubeuspotter719 6 books is an amazing blessing! i got lucky with finding a lot of mine either for free or thrifting them for $1 or $2. I could NEVER afford buying them all new either! Also, LFL’s, libby and libraries are GREAT resources to consume books for free, and at the end of the day books are just things that we can’t take with us. Comparison is the thief of joy, at the end of the day you have 6 new books that you hadn’t before, that’s so exciting! which ones did you get? 💗 also happy belated birthday! 🎂

@@KarlyJo I’m waiting for Murtagh to arrive, but currently I have the brides of Maracoor by Gregory Maguire, the wicked hour by Alice Blanchard, Hostage by Clare Mackintosh, the escape room by Megan goldin, all which my mom picked up from dollar general for $5 each and I also got a wedding in December by Sarah Morgan from a friend who snagged it from Target. Murtagh is a treat to myself. But I guess you have a point. They were written in the late 90’s/early 2000’s and it is a Christian fiction series based on the book of Revelation in the Bible. HIGHLY recommend!! Other ones I recently read I love include Just for the Summer by Abby Jiminez (which is in your haul), Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt, and The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah. My absolute favorite Stephen King book is The Green Mile.
