After BC Final box i am thinking of adding some copy of Des Feral Imp to Viper anime theme Deck and maybe some Lord Poison and Lekunga just to fit the theme and function :)

You know, judging by the 2nd part of Tea's skill, I'm half wondering if they intended Maxx C to go into her imaginary deck alongside Fire Sorcerer, Witch, etc. That'd sure be wild lol

I tought we would get mind controlled Tristan as Big 5. Its cool we got normal Tristan, but we do not have any of his cards in SD card pool. No super roborayu, or battle guards.. nothing. While we got Jinzo, Those penguins, Injetion fary lili, robot king as trap... and some others big 5 cards. Also Tristan having "Destiny Draw" like skill makes me mad.. like when did he use something like that in anime or manga. Tea is cool, that previous skill for he was usless. But if i had to choose i would ot add Tea again but Rebecca Hawkings, even if she is not in BC finals or Virtual world. She is just missing and if this is final box it is really sad we did not get her. Duke and Noah are cool for me, i can ot wait to have them :)

Amazoness and Harpies Hunting Gorund do not work togather even with skill. Becaus eSkill says Harpie not Harpie Lady. Non of Harpie Lady Spell and Traps work with Amazoness.

Just a note and I could be wrong, but I think because 'Advent of Ra' says you can mulligan Winged Dragon of Ra MONSTERS, you could actually search out Sphere Mode and Immortal Phoenix instead of just the OG monster.

Guys question. Now that necrovalley will be in speed duel will it prevent skill cards from adding from the gy? Like ritual of black mastery can add a spell card from the gy when magician of chaos destroys a monster.

So we got a PACKMAN skill thats also magical hats, ngl that sounds like a lot of fun, ngl I want this odion stuff for the confirmed support he's getting early next year more than anything. Why we didn't get apophis the swamp deity is beyond me though.

I am excited to use Yugi's skills. I also prefer Dark Magician skill, but I love Arcana monsters, excited to try both. Will try to get a Destiny Board win against friends as well. 😅

Ibhate that they made Odion as fueld spell... they could add art of temple of kings on that skill. I hate when skill is spell or trap and have character on it... Just do them like old fusion oarty or call of the haountrd skill

Do we have free Red Eyes if opponent has 2 monsters? Its worded probematicly. Joey got skill with monsters that are not in the set... While they gave him random warrior deck. Other skill is wierd since Joey in BC did not have red eyes, it was in yugis deck... And we got 1 fussion red eyes xD this means speed duel is just on pause

That Red-Eyes Skill is atrocious. It's not like the Blue-Eyes Skill is great, but at least it's okay. Raigeki and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon are cool. Then once they had the template, it's literally like they recreated the "Hey, can I copy your homework" meme. Here, instead of Raigeki and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, you get Okazi and Meteor Black Dragon... And to play Meteor Black Dragon (the only Red-Eyes Fusion in the format), you have to run Meteor Dragon, a horribly stated, level 6 vanilla... It saddens me when I saw Skills like this that nobody will ever use. Feels like such a waste of card board, especially when it could have been a decent Skill instead. And like you said, it's not like I want all Skills to be busted. Both of Odion's Skills are cool. Even if they're not powerful, I want to try them out and build decks around them. Same with Duke's Skill, which I've already heard people refer to as worse It's My Lucky Day (the Joey Skill). I like that it's once a turn dice reroll instead of once a game say what you want the result to be. It's more fun that way. But the Red-Eyes Skill is just garbage. I also don't like Battle City Slugger at all, but at least it has some potential. I value the small ATK boost less than you do, but maybe I'm wrong, playtesting will tell. But you could run a Jinzo deck and not worry about bricking, that's not nothing. And Gilford is a cool card, so it's hard to actively hate on this Skill. It's just meh

Big agree that the Obelisk Skill sucks, but the Blue-Eyes Skill does have some potential. Effectively getting a Raigeki just by having E Hero Prisma on the field isn't nothing. But I did some testing with the old Dragon Caller Skill and the new support for it and yup, it's better!

E hero prisma eff to Blue-eyes. Use skill to Raigeki the field. If possible make Ultimate Dragon and OTK opponent :)

FINALLY they give Yugi decent skills

ive been playing duel links lately, and despite a few meta decks being quite overpowered *and costly* my speed duel experience has been quite enjoyable. its made me think of picking up some of the irl product

tbh glazed yugi. but thought the fiendish rhino comment someone put actually sounded not bad for bakura. dm is cool and all but i think making cards that have never been good (sleeper builds) better is much more enjoyable for me personally - not to say dm is good but it def gets love

Both of Yugi's Skills are just top tier. It's hard to decide which one I like more. But most of all, I'm just glad that there is now a "Yugi" Dark Magician Skill that's actually viable. Now I just hope they do the same with Kaiba and Blue-Eyes :D And yeah, the Sky God Revelation doesn't work on the Arcana Knight boss monster if you special summon it. Granted, the Skill is so good it makes normal summoning it a worthwhile endeavor, but it's something that should be noted. As for Bakura's Skills, I like them a lot more than you do, but they are definitely a step down in power level. Fear of the Dark feels bad, but Malevolence lets you cook. I'm thinking pitch Fiendish Rhino > pitch Annihilator Archfiend > use Monster Reborn/Premat/Archfiend's Roar to get back a big idiot from the GY. Basically, with how many revival effects we have now, this Skill essentially lets you cheat out any Fiend. Fill up the GY with Dark monsters (lots of Fiends are Dark) to set up Dark Rainbow Dragon. Do some dumbassery with Terrorking Archfiend and Checkmate :D None of this is nearly as powerful as what Yugi's Skills do, but it's also a lot more open ended

Love sky god for making slifer playable. And ever faithful companion my gosh. It will be the default for dark magican decks. Like I think you have to actively convince yourself to choose a different dark magican skill. Fear of the dark makes sense but i guess they were afraid of making spirit message too strong because i assumed protection would be you sac one card in your hand. Personally i would have had it that you can protect spirit board by sending one card in your hand to your deck and shuffle it. I say that because adding to the graveyard or banishing it would drastically change the deck to possibly being beneficial where as moving cards to the deck gives the desired feeling. Because you are making it harder to draw the spirit board pieces and you feeling the desperation because you are giving up your future plays in hopes of getting the pieces. Tying it to necrofear just seems less fun to me and they should instead had necrofear be a side skill

I love Yugi skills, bakura is meh for me. I will stick to older skills when i use bakuras cards

Fiendish rhino warrior can be sent with the skill to send a big fiend like annihilator archfiend, saving you some lp in comparison. Revive the big fiend with monster reborn or premature burial. Rhino is also a good normal summon for the skill to protect the big fiend you summoned, especially with archfiend popping cards

They need to keep this going...They are able to coincide the releases with DL releases. It escapes my mind why they did not even try ...or did they?

King of the swamp makes so many fusion decks better. You can technically main deck dragoon in destiny hero now. Elemental heroes have another poly searcher. Dark paladin is way less bricky. Evil hero is more playable. Cyber dragon can otk faster. And what’s probably the biggest winner of this is roids.

Something not talked about enough is amazoness. It’s more than just playable. This was a tier 0 deck in duel links and now it has everything back with more tools to utilize.

A lot of hits and some misses, I'd say. Overall, I'm happy with it. Yugi's deck looks great, Mai's deck makes both Harpies and Amazoness actually exciting, Odion's deck does something really interesting going all-in on the PACKMAN strategy (I hope there's a skill that supports flipping), and while the fairy part of Ishizu's deck is boring, the Gravekeeper's part has got me giddy. Bakura and Marik also seem fine, nothing too exciting when looking at the decks as a whole, but they be cooking with Ra and Destiny Board. And while Kaiba's deck does look like a random pile, I think it'll run really well, especially in constructed, just because of how strong Trade-In and all the musical instruments that the King of D. gets to blow on. The YZ Union fusion is the one you summon with the one card combo with Union Hanger, so I don't know what they were thinking excluding that, but I'll get over it so long as Blue-Eyes finally becomes viable. But then what the fuck is Joey's deck? It's inexcusably bad! If they didn't know what to print, they could have just given us the few cool cards in the extra pile and then given little Yugi's deck with gadget's and silent magician/swordman a slot. Yeah, overall, the set looks great, but I just hate how they've wasted a deck slot on "Joey's" random pile. Can't wait for the Skill reveals
