we can literally see you came here with the default stereotypical mindset about india that everyone is poor and hindu and cows and no rules to follow.and it's irritating to see you act like this is mumbai or north india and giving credit to colonizers for the pros in which they had no roles for any improvement here rather than looting us is offensive to us keralites, lemme give you and advice to be more open minded and learn about the place you're gonna visit rather than get along with stereotypes spitting in yo shi vlogs.

As a vlogger you have freedom to put your opinion. But read bit history .. that would help a lot. Kerala was one among few region where Kings rules was in place ..till 1947 .. English education was implemented by the king traffic and rules where followed strictly from that period. Wherever direct British rules - You can see the scenarios like north India.By the way Kerala is not the best developed region in India. You can say '' one among'' .We thought Canadians would be anyway better than Trudeau. Anyway enjoy your trip .

You don't see Keralaites begging. Poverty here is well below 1%. There is no extream poverty in kerala. Colonial powers has nothing to do with development of kerala. When they left Kerala was one of the poorest states in India. Poverty was whispered. In spite of Kerala having no major natural wealth ,it developed because of the policies of government and the development of oil industry in the gulf region. Arabs at that time was not educated enough, and there was lack of skilled and other workforce. From the first government in Kerala it invested heavily in education , health and social development, later on that paid off. Huge private land holdings was taken over by the government and was distributed amoung the landless poor. Christmas is celebrated by many people ,even if they are not christians. It is a very secular state. Christians make 18% of the population, muslums 26% and rest is Hindus (almost).....

If one country's terrorist is another country's asylum seeker then welcome to a world where incidences like the German market car crash will be more common. Unfortunately, Canada under Pierre Trudeau learnt nothing after the bombing of Air India 182 by Khalistani extremists & under the pretext of providing asylum admitted in Canada every such fugitive of Indian law enforcement. Once a criminal, always a criminal except that he has a new country to practice his criminality.

What nonsense are you spitting colonialism doesn't have anything to do in kerala development.kerala developed because of High education literacy and our brothers worked hard in gulf countries to send money to Kerala. And our rich heritage attracted tourism. And kochi is not the most developed City in india, there are cities like Mumbai , Bangalore that are more developed than kochi How idiot are you, saying people use public transports because poverty. Kerala is one of the most christmas celebrating state in india. Without any religious divide

Present day Kerala comprises of three previous areas where Malayalam was spoken. The three parts were Travancore, Cochin and Malabar. The following shows how Kerala developed earlier. Cheraman Juma Masjid: Located in Kodungallur, this mosque is believed to be the first mosque established in 629 AD by Malik Ibn Dinar. Paradesi Synagogue: Situated in Mattancherry, Kochi, this synagogue was built in 1568 AD and is the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. (There are other synagogues which were older which are not active) St. Thomas Syro-Malabar Church: Also known as Mar Thoma Church, located in Kodungallur, it is said to be one of the seven and a half churches established by St. Thomas the Apostle in 52 AD.-- Christianity in Kerala is thus older than that in Europe. First Public Health System: Travancore established the first public health system in India, with a network of hospitals and dispensaries. First State to Implement Compulsory Primary Education: In 1817, Travancore became the first state in India to implement compulsory primary education. First State to Abolish Capital Punishment: Travancore abolished capital punishment in 1946, making it the first state in India to do so. -First State to Introduce Land Reforms: Travancore introduced land reforms in the early 20th century, redistributing land to the landless. -First State to Implement a Public Distribution System: Travancore introduced a public distribution system to ensure food security for its citizens. -First State to Establish a Legislative Assembly: Travancore established a legislative assembly in 1888, one of the earliest in India. First European Settlement: Cochin was the site of the first European settlement in India, established by Portuguese navigator Pedro Álvares Cabral in 1500. First Princely State to Join Indian Union: Cochin was the first princely state to voluntarily join the Indian Union after independence in 1947. Commercial Hub: Cochin has been a significant trading center for spices since ancient times, known to Greeks, Romans, Jews, Syrians, Arabs, and Chinese.

1. buses having no windows :- when buses move fast , there'll be air circulation. Kerala has high temperature almost all the time (24-40 C). if you have glass windows then there has to be A/C in the bus. Which will increase the ticket rate. Obviously transportation have to be affordable for poorest of the poor too. so this is the best option. 2: "they don't celebrate christmas here" : that may be true for North india in general except for few places. But kerala has approx 20% christians and even non-christians also attend christmas celebrations in schools/colleges/workplace etc. everyone irrespective of religion hangs the christmas star in their home. 3. colonialism being the reason for developement: Absolutely not! Kerala has the long history of trading from around 3000 BCE. Kerala had trading with Arabs, Romans,Chinese, Persians etc. Colonialists are different from the traders. Trades by normal traders profit natives too. Colonialists just loot and maximise their profit. No advantage for any of the natives. Yes , Kerala wasn't invaded violently as other north indian states so that part is true. Kerala became 'developed' (comparatively) because communist govt in Kerala brought land reforms and captured vast amount of lands from feudal lords and gave to the peasants. Also successive congress and communist govts and the rivalry between them also made them to do the best for the people to win their votes. praising colonialism for developement is as stupid as praising slavery for advancement of US in early 1800s.
