What a failed visual aid... white pearls on-a white cloth & no close ups! It would be more beneficial to viewers like me to learn something like fresh water pearls versus Akoya pearls, when words / lectures are accompanied with clear & sensible visual aids!

I have a black pearl my mom put in my 6-prong Tiffany setting original 50 year old engagement ring, after stealing the diamond for a cocktail ring(?!). She says its worth as much as the 1/3 rd carat diamond. I don't really care as she put her & my grandmothers diamonds in cocktail ring with Jadite smaller stones, and I inherited it, but found it a little difficult to believe.

it really depends on the size and the quality but pearls rise in price every year. This year alone black pearls have raised 30 to 50%

What you're referring to fall under Freshwater pearls. However, generally there aren't any natural black Freshwater or a true red. But they certainly have lots of colors.

Thrilled to see this on your channel too. Pearl powder is magical for skin! Especially if you have large pores, oily skin & inflamed skin. Calms it right down. Is this made with freshwater pearls?

I have sn oval shape pearl I dont know wether its real peall because its strange in shape,I ussuslly see round pearls. Is it possible to have oval pearls?
