Are these illustrated per chapter? Or just text?

I‘m thinking about getting this box however i was thinking what to do with the „doors“ of it since i want to display the books and not keep the box closed :/ is there a possibility to flip the doors to the sides of the box or would it damage the doors? Any help would be appreciated :,( also i want to keep the books in the box and not take them out

Thanks for showing us this set! The only addition I wish you had done is to show us a couple of shots of the actual text, to see how big the font is. If it’s too small, it takes away from my reading pleasure. I want a Philosopher’s Stone book, too! I only have the paperbacks, minus volume 7, which I lent out😢. I love the illustrated version, but don’t want to wait for them to complete the series, so I might just get this one while I’m waiting. Thanks again.
