I don’t like cinnamon in my peach butter. Guess I’ll look opt to leave that out.

Do you put the lid on the dutch oven when you put it in the oven? Looks delicious!

If you used jalapeno peppers, then it's not Tabasco hot sauce. You need to use tabasco peppers for Tabasco hot sauce.

In the ingredient list for this hot sauce on the bottle it says jalapeños not tabascos

Would like to know how you did the peach habanero jam. Can you use just sugar to make it or use Pomona's pectin?
@laurahenning55312 жыл бұрын
OMG the strainer for the foam - why did I not think of that?! The jar grabber is definitely worth it. Consider an emersion blender for your pureeing, you can do it right in the crock pot and you'd have far less dirty dishes. Mine have never gotten mushy from the 30 seconds on boil - flash cool method of peeling. I can peel 4 per minute and waste absolutely no peach flesh (for those that have a no plan for the peels).

So with the jelly you said you need to use juice now are u buying juice to use or what kind of juice are we talking about also with the syrup the peels used for that where they the peels that you had already cooked once for the jelly or where they just the other 1/2 of the peels from the peach butter sorry just a Lil confused on somthing thank you for your time in showing us how to make such amazing thing out of stuff that would normally be trash I grow up in an very un happy un friendly home and so I never got to learn all this stuff from my grandma or mother and being able to watch your videos and teach my kids how to do this and Make the memories I so wish I had really makes me feel amazing thank you again for bring us in ur home

You do know peach pits are loaded with cyanide I hope.... Makes me wonder what exactly are we extracting here lol No pun intended here but there's enough cyanide in those pits to actually kill someone if they do consume enough of them. Maybe you're making some sort of peach oil extract for a potpourri - which actually might smell interesting.

The video was not to long…it is wonderful to watch another person willing to work to make good things for her family. I have put up jams and jellies my whole life. First with my mother and grandmother then with my sister and her son. He loves to cook. It is important for children to know how to feed themselves. Thanks for the time you take to share your knowledge with the rest of us.

Did you divide the peels- some for jelly and some for the syrup? What types of things do you use the syrup for? It’s all so gorgeous!

Hey Jess! Your chicken looks great! I've read and found a lot of times that using a metal knife to get the bubbles out can cause little nicks and scratches on the insides of the jars, making them more prone to breaking. I usually used a chopstick until I found this little gadget. It looks a bit tough to find right now because quarantine, but maybe next time you're out you may find one in the store. www.amazon.com/Norpro-Canning-Bubble-Popper-Measurer/dp/B00NE52LYG/ref=sr_1_5?crid=22TVHN2CMMLFZ&dchild=1&keywords=canning+headspace+tool&qid=1587583749&sprefix=canning+head%2Caps%2C152&sr=8-5
