My trip went very well... and I only had to ride 1 day in the rain. Thanks for asking. It's still incredible that you both constantly find the mental power to continue. You upload as much, and as often as you can, in your own time, my 👍 will be waiting for every upload, as and when it comes, so no stress. You have bigger and more important things to tackle. You two are incredible..., weiterhin viel glück👍

How many kilometers do you make per day approximately?

It really depends on the surface of the path, amount of climbing and intensity/direction of the wind, but usually between 70 and 90 km off-road :)

Yes, we've met many cyclists along the way but noone of them got through Tajikistan without getting sick at some point, so it's hard on everybody 😅

You need a new sleeping mat stat. In the long run, inability to rest and recover energy during the night is your biggest enemy. You still have almost a whole year to go and you don't want to run out of your body's reserves while biking through Mongolia in winter :)

Yes, that heat..., now you would love to have some of that cold you started with. Tiredness is your biggest enemy I would say, when the body and mind are tired, nothing else wants to function. I sounds very much like you desparately need a NEW sleep mat.. Thanks for taking the time, despite all your difficulties, to film and upload, with an honest review of each day.

hey, long story short, we use a GoPro Chesty to stabilise the Sony a7. We can make a future video if we get more requests 😊

@@bikeophilie8226 Big thanks for the reply. What clip do you use? GoPro mount ecosystem is huge but not built for tripod screw connection. I hope to see that video one day, many videos suggest to use three point straps and have camera on the back but this exposes the camera to sweat and dirt kicked by the tire. Perhaps, your solution solves these, also, allows to shoot faster, but perhaps is harder on shoulders. Be strong and enjoy the views!

Greece has rains in summer? Lucky Greece, i think we will be getting the next rain approximately in December :) The views are fantastic :) How are you planning to deal with biking in autumn - winter conditions? Do you carry all of the clothing with you or you expect to buy it when the season comes?

We are carrying all the necessary equipment for winter conditions like down jacket, down sleeping bag, warm layers etc so we hope to be prepared for below freezing temperatures 😅

We have no electric MTB because we have no possibility of charging the battery on the way. We take accomodation once a week to wash our clothes, so the whole journey is powered by our muscles ☺️

The link to the GPX collection containing the trails we followed across Croatia is now in the description of the video. We chose however a different path in Bosnia and Montenegro (which will be described in the videos).
