My granddaughter has Autism. She is non-verbal. She is 3yrs old. She has been saying "no" according to my grandson, her brother. She was born in 2020 which they say was the Covid factor affecting the kids. I am a Registered Nurse, that could be possible because I am a nurse in SECEP, Special Ed. The kids I work with are really far gone with other issues besides the Autism. My daughter and her husband work. I wish I was there because I would do one on one and she would be talking. She is at an elementary school pre-school. She was accepted in there. Thank you for this little session you have done. I am going to forward it to my daughter.

FCRR - Florida Center for Reading Research is a great resource backed by research. Look under the Resources section for your grade level. They're currently free of charge and once laminated - will last for a while.

It is so annoying to try to protect the kids form online improper exposure I can't avoid to think it is on purpose they want to discourage the fathers form put on the mesures in place.

Do you know how how to restrict the apps (inappropriate ads or apps) without removing regular youtube or netflix? Everytime I set restrictions you tube, chrome, and netflix dissapear. My kid watches ok things on you tube, its the apps that are awful.

I am really happy to have somehow stumbled on this video. you have share some strategies that will help get better results and outcome of my teaching. Eliminating unnecessary information is one strategy i will now continue to employ. Thank you so much. However, i have a student (early teen years) with mild form of cerebral palsy who is generally not motivated by anything. I have tried a lot of ways to get him to take part in activities but he hasn't been forthcoming. WHAT CAN I DO?

I'm 15 and I obey my mom to the max, she is the one that is in total control. Everyday, I come home from school and the 1 st thing I do, is give her my phone...don't want any distractions, then I do my homework, then all the chores for that day, which must be done to my moms satisfaction. Then I do whatever she tells me to do with no back talk or arguing. On the weekends, I do want she wants me to do, Before I have my "Free time"

This was a blessing to come across! I am entering my third year, and with covid online teaching my first year, I've been a mess. After this second year in the classroom, lecturing for special education definitely doesn't work. They like the "stationsish" forms I gave them gave me such results. I am so excited to prepare tasks over the summer for common skill needs for my resource room supports this third year after whole group stuff based around gen ed. I think I will have a lot of success.

I can not say thank you enough for caring enough about America’s children and their future to take the time to put out a video with so much good information that really hits the spot when it comes to knowing where to start to try to put some constraints on this beast we call internet. Thank you!! I am excited to see more content from you in the future on this subject. Thank you!!
