She didn’t protect her skin from the sun causing her to recycle the process causing more acne, you’d need sunscreen to protect the acne and your skin

Buy a big 50 oz or 1 to 3 litter cup. Every morning fill it up and drink it with in 4 hours any time you feel you can drink it. You will go pee so plan to drink at home or in your office. Drinking more water and go bed early, shower each night before going to bed, buy cheap sun lotion like nutrogena or olay any brand is fine. Do it 2 months you will look beautiful.

From what I understand this is not to treat acne? This is different than adapalene.

The reason your skin is bad is because you cannot say a sentence without using the word "like". In this 16 minute video you broke the world record for the amount of times you said "like"! Serious bit - You need to use Isotretinoin from a dermatologist. It doesn't make your skin peel anywhere near as much as you fear it does and you can use moisturiser to combat that.

This thing gave me the worse breakouts. I use dove soap sensitive skin now with not 1 issue. I've used blavk soap cerave, natrium, bha/aha panoxyl all my skin hates. The retinaldehyde from avene the only thing didn't jack up my skin.

I feel like if you stop the makeup you would see much more improvement. As I guy who had a much more severe acne than yours, hearing you don't wanna leave without makeup is sad and unhealthy. I'm telling you right now - you look A LOT better with acne and no makeup on. Other than that people don't give a single fuck about you, they are way too focused on their own problems and insecurities. Hold your heads up girls, you are what you are and don't need to hide it. :)

actually makeup can be beneficial to acne scars because it blocks the sunlight 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I understand your point. Of course she should not feel like she has to wear makeup to look good

I started using this about 3 years ago and other people are noticing how much nicer my skin is. I didn't use it for acne. I'm 41 years old with sensitive skin. It's the only retinol I could use. It has smoothed my textured skin so much. Also I am trying to prevent fine lines and wrinkles. I also use Cerave Daily moisturizing lotion for normal to dry skin. It had hyaluronic acid and 3 essential ceramides. I love these products so much.

I understand how you feel. I used to break out with cystic acne everywhere. Face, ears, chest and back, and I've had them in my nose in my teens and 20s. In my 30s, it started to calm, a little. Late 30s I went to Accutane. It's better now but the scars left behind leaves me deflated. I can't remember a time that I had clear skin. I started breaking out around 12 or 13.

I did Accutane at 39. I wish I had did it 20 years ago. I was acne and ingrown free for a year afterwards. Now I'm getting small, infrequent pimples, especially on my chest. My skin isn't nearly as oily as it used to be. I just started Cerave Resurfacing Retinol, mostly to see if it softens the scars.

Well done for posting your honest review and journey. Bless you. I did not from your video that you said you will not leave the house without make-up. Im sorry to tell you that make-up will clog your pores as soon as you apply it creating spots and so on. I don't wear any foundation, at most if i feel pasty white then a tinted moisturiser, as a result, i have very clear skin, the only time i get a spot is if i eat greasy food like pizza and i forget to clean my skin.... I know this will be really hard, but try zero makeup on your skin (and moisturiser until you have got a handle on it)... let you skin breathe for at least 3 weeks, even if you feel like you will need to stay home for 3 weeks and not see anyone, once the 3 weeks is up you wont have to do it again (i doubt), but i probably will take 4 to detox your skin. If you can then go swimming twice a week, the chlorine on the skin does wonders and will really clean your skin out... If your wondering why i was watching, its because i have freckles and I'm trying to find a way to fade them, apparently cerave works, but have not found any decent reviews. Just remember make up creates bad skin.

Hiii , please also get a food sensitivity and allergy test , it could be something aggravating the acne ...I used to have this issue and it really does eat you up mentally , i still get breakouts but it's not at all bad , found out i've got like a eczema or dermatitis thing and some foods really cause flare ups that look exactly like acne .

Try cutting those nails and stop touching your face! 1 year late but I hope your skin has gotten better. Ughhh I’m sorry but seeing you repeatedly touch your face with those long nails makes me feel itchy. Keep your nails the shortest possible and see if that does something. I remember picking on my skin when I was younger and suddenly didn’t have time to do it because adulting, and I literally only touch my face when washing it, applying sunscreen and moisturizer and powder and I let it be the entire day until the next washing time.

your Acne looks like exactly like my acne back in the days. after trying everything i went to the doctor and took isotretinoin for 9 months 20mg per day. Had dry lips and had my first sunburn but my skin was clear as a baby and it stayed that way. i didnt change anything on the food and i stop washing my face actively, i do nothing anymore in my facial skin. after some years i get 1-3 bumbs again but they are gone after just rinsing hot water in the shower.

Hey Amanda, I know I am late but I just came across your video as I was searching for products to help my cousin with her acne. Like you my cousin suffers from bad breakouts and has red bumps on both sides of her cheeks. As a person who has just switched to all Cerave products myself with normal to dry skin I can say there products work. Now for myself, I occasionally get bumps on my face but I don’t have bad acne. I suffer with dry skin and had a bad reaction to Aveeno Calm sensitive skin products where it discolored the skin on my chin. I was so embrassed going out and would cover up my discoloration with makeup so when you said you wouldn’t leave your house without makeup on I can relate. I felt so insecure as the first thing people look at is your face. I went to a dermatologist who recommended I use Cerave and she gave me a cream for the discoloration around my mouth. Two words : Game Changer for my skin! Fast forward to now my skin isn’t dry and I don’t have to use all these products to get hydration in my skin. I use the Cerave hydrating facial wash, and the Cerave moisturizing cream in the jar and on hot days I use the light moisturizing lotion. Thank you for sharing your journey and to document your progress was brave of you. So, I will definitely recommend what you use to my cousin who’s suffering with acne. I definitely saw the difference in your skin from using Cerave. Also, some tips that I learned myself that helps with acne is 1. The pillow case ( make sure you keep your pillow case clean and make sure it’s cotton or some cool material. 2. Your diet ( when suffering from acne stay away from anything acidic like sodas or any carbonated drinks, stick to water. 3. When washing your face make sure you’re using a gentle cleanser so it won’t irritate your acne. Again, thank you for making your video and your pretty so don’t let your acne get you down as we are all learning about our bodies 😊
