My first Harley was a 1986 fxrd Grand Touring Edition. Looks like Harley has come full circle. It had a frame mounted fairing,fairing lowers small tour pak and saddle bags. Exhaust was dresser style with mufflers on both sides. Only 1000 were made and weren't very popular as they weren't traditional looking but it was light and handled well. We put over 60,000 on that bike much of it pulling a trailer. Looks like this low rider sport is a 35 year old idea
