I think I could love Kenya but for two major things. The foreign tax, I think they call mazumbo or something like that, and the elevation. It's damn near 6000 feet up. How much was the first place per month or did i miss it?

Congratulations! Am torn between CIC and AAR health coverage . We also moved back here last year and my husband is a veteran as well. It makes sense for him to have the coverage here because by the time we get SOS international to respond to any health emergency, the local insurance will cover him. Less of a hustle that way.

Used to be a customer of AAR both in Tanzania and Kenya. Zero complaints. Had my now middle schooler at Princess Zahra Pavilion at the Aga Khan University Hospital. Exceptional care and medical expertise, comparable and in some instances exceeds what is available in the US and I think the entire bill was $ 2500 compared to a $ 50, 000 C section tab in the US.
