Excited for these new content and updates but really hope they mention about reworking the UK soon, it desperately needs doing. As someone that lives in the UK I hate driving in my own country because the roads/Motorways look nothing like the real thing ☹️

I have been interested in picking up this game but I am curious how accurate the maps and roads are. As a Native Texan I am fairly familiar with most of the towns and road with in a few hundred miles of my residence. can anyone elaborate?

It's extremely accurate, all the roads, junctions, and even some rest stops are based on real life. However, the game map is on 1:20 scale, which means every 20 miles in real life equals to just 1 mile in game. So, there is a lot of real life things that's left out or kind of merged together. But of course, including the essential parts for trucking. I highly recommend Texas DLC, I am sure you'll love it and find it pretty realistic

I would love to see mod tools like: 1. Mod load order auto sort that will automatically sort the mods into its designated load order spot when you enable mods. Similar to loot for Skyrim. 2. Mod crash detection system. When you have conflicts with mods that will crash the game and will tell you how to resolve it. Similar to vortex

One thing I do wonder about rigid trucks Most of them are designed to do inner city deliveries and in ETS, the cities are mostly limited to expressways and surrounding ring roads so how'll rigid trucks be adapted to the existing map?

I really hope SCS will do something about that AI - traffic in both games? And the engine sounds too? Would be great! Imagine having Slav-Jerry and M.Yildiz engine / open pipe sounds in these games! Would be great too! Yep - dream on! 😂 And bring these games to life a little bit more - like: You are not the only one to pic up cargo! There will be other trucks there too! Trucks and other vehicles entering / leaving the ferry when you do! Buses stopping at the bus-stop! Families coming / leaving their homes! More wildlife - maybe a deer crossing the road! Birds, insects etc! Yep - keep on dreaming! 😂 Maybe i'm asking for to much? I don't no? Both of these games are so fun and enjoyable - like meditation! ❤ Keep up the GREAT work! 👍

Nice to see that some of the old trucks get some love. Maybe in 2026 the Volvo FH3, Actros MP3, The Ivecos and the Renaults get some love too, they need it. Long time to wait, but building trucks completely new from scratch take some time.

I wonder what's going to come after Nordic Horizons! A Caucasus region DLC? I'd love to drive to Georgia without Promods! A UK DLC? Give us more of Scotland! An Island DLC? Time to add Cyprus, Malta, and Iceland!

Good question, and I'm also curious. What's left is Belarus, Ukraine and Moldova. All of them are more or less problematic: Belarus is the least, but still a bit closed country, Ukraine, the war of course, and in Moldova Transnistria is a mess, though they did Kosovo, it's worse. So either the next will be Belarus, or Iceland, maybe with other islands, as you said, or they'll make three really small DLCs. For UK, I'm sure they'll do a full rework, but not as a DLC, I'm sure, they won't remove anything from the base game. But I hope they add the whole Ireland for free, and maybe some small islands. Before Caucasus, we need a road through Turkey or Russia, but with the unreleased Russia DLC, there's no chance now.

At the sound of the engine, the scs gives it the worst of everything. The sound in the game has nothing to do with reality. So SCS DOWN. No offense but this is the reality. If it's a Simulator, let it be until the end...still a simulator...no kidding. 👎👎👎👎👎

I think that it will also remain with rigid bodies like curtainsiders. A working swap body system where you have to drive under the containers would be nice, or roll-off tippers/hook lifts.
