I‘d love to see a Going East Refresh, no - a Rework - as well. DLC is outdated af. Sure we are not getting it anytime soon, but I‘m only saying. UK rework and Going East Rework (edit - yes, you guys are right, needs a complete rework) would be awesome to see it one day. BeNeLux is coming anyway, so there wouldn‘t be much left to revamp (which are the biggest holes in the map yet). edit: seems i‘m first xd

I think it's going to be a proper rework, like Austria, Switzerland and Germany not only a reskin, so we probably have to wait for the base map to be finished before.

Going East need a complete rework, not only a refreh. Scandinavia has better and more advanced design than Going East. That's why Scandinavia gets a refresh and some cities a rework.

@@alshyia And northern Italy. Venezia, Verona and Torino still has the same old stock city layout. And in France I know of at least one, but maybe there are two old ETS1 fuel stations.

I'm glad they're reworking these areas. Denmark surely looked the worst out of all of them, just crossing the border with Germany felt like going back many years, when I first got the DLC xD

Yes agree, current Denmark certainly looks the worst out of them all in ETS2. What's funny that a year later Denmark downgraded it's cities in real life, now every street have flat LED saucer-looking street lamps

After they added a few islands in Greece DLC. Giving hope for Baltic Sea islands 👀 could be added (Like Bornholm, Fasta Åland, Gotland, Öland and Saaremaa) in the future.

To me Scandinavian dlc is the best looking of yet from ETS2

Some scenery and tunnels are stunning there absolutely, but the cities are generic and textures are quite outdated. Greece and West Balkans are definitely way better map DLCs imo. With this refresh, it will be closer to the standards of recent DLCs :))

I think DirectX12 should be the 1st priority. We got enough fresh content this year that could be amazing but held back by performance. Official VR support should also be added on the roadmap. ETS/ATS and Flight Sim are the best games for VR, it's such a shame. For years it's being a side project which is though always available as beta on steam for every update. More devs should work on it and merge it to the live branch, mark it as experimental feature, let people play on tmp with official VR.

I hope that it is not only a big refresh. I would like the map to cover up to far north like Northkapp. Like promods. To have 15 more new cities for each Norway, Sweeden and Finland. Finger crossed :)

Now that I have 28 drivers /26 trailers my net is 5.4m in ATS NOW I can finally get bk in Europe ets2 and Chex out the west balkin n Greece 🇬🇷 maps I bought last month

They want to do it just before - because rigids are popular in the region - but they are unsure whether they will manage to finish it by that time or not

On the one hand I like it but on the other hand I dont understand why they wont rework it all from scratch, but only some parts? They did this reskin approach with Germany before and then later decided to rework everything. Why not do it all from scratch when sooner or later it will become inevitable anyway? If they only partially rework it we will drive through an all new Copenhagen just to get the same old Odense with better textures but still the old square shaped default city layouts?
