Some great info. One thing which is not covered, though, would be a way to easily pull up a color or black image on one or the other outputs. I have a use where we need to have two projectors running, but sometimes black out one or the other. It looks like I could go into the menu and set up an aux still to be assigned to one or the other, but that's time consuming, and I need to switch quickly between them. Any idea how to assign a button to have a black still image appear on one or the other projectors?

If I plan to use this Switcher outputs to send to various TV connections to be able to be seen with no Latency for a small church during a service? Does this qualify for the job, or is there any latency or “lag” from the outputs to whatever TVs or monitors would connect for the crowd to follow along the service? Please do kindly let me know

hi would be possible to have more lines of programmation in the macro board .? just 10 is not enough to complexes size and crop for differentes types of pip let me know, i have send a message to roland us and wait for their answer . we need more lines because to switch betwin 100% crop and 80 % for exemple , we need to programmate a new line the same is when use 4 box and go to 3 box , need one more line to shut off the pip don't play ... and also the possibility to have aux in the multiview thanks for your return all the best

That's an amazing unit! What' are the options for someone needing to do ISO recording on the vr-4hd or vr-6hd. Any possible firmware update to allow ISO recording on an SSD via the USB-C port? That would make it the perfect machine. Program is great, but some clients requires post editing of an event.

I have an urgent question. I am a Video Engineer in Las Vegas using a V-160HD switcher. I was updating the firmware from 1.2 to the current 2.02. Looked like everything was going fine but then it just stopped. The builh in monitor displays "Checking USB Memory" but that's it. No buttons are responsive and I don't want to restart for obvious reasons. It's a brand new unused 128GB USB 3.1 thumb drive with only the firmware

Why is the PIP the section that allows switching of channels? And the background is locked? I want to have my PIP locked from input 1 feed and then have background switchable to my other 3 hdmi inputs. I basically have a multi cam event with 3 background cams and then want my PIP on channel 1 to remain locked on my ASL interpreter. This is a huge let down and seems like they have this backwards compared to how people usually use PIP on other hardware. Am I missing something here , is what I’m asking possible? I read the manual and it doesn’t seem like I can. Please answer, as I have a major event in 3 days. Thanks!!!

Thanks! We installed 2.01 only to find out the tally frame indicators have gone mad. However, we re-installed version 1.15 which now has bricked our device. What can we do? We cannot get to the update procedure by pressing the three buttons and booting, because the screen just stays black. Switching on the V-160HD normally the unit crashes at »LOADING STILL IMAGE 2«.

Can i store the pip as a preset and recall it to Preview rather than directly recall it to PGM?
