So hard to set up frustrating so far not liking the machine haven't been able to get it to work

I bought a machine directly through the Thermomix site, but was then contacted by a consultant who had obviously been given my the contact details I provided when I purchased it. She proceeded to harass me mercilessly to have a cooking demo with friends and family, which I didn’t want to do and which she was aware of as I told her nicely the first time she contacted me. After the fourth time she called me to ask me to set a date, I had to block her number as she wouldn’t give up. I did not ask for a consultant, I just wanted to buy the machine and I resent the fact that my contact details were given to someone for commercial purposes without my permission.

Can it grow in full strength salt water?

Hi, just found your video for some hints and tips, I am literally sitting here (UK) waiting for my new TM6 to be delivered and I cannot wait to get started with it, so excited. I almost went with the Omin cook because it's cheaper but then I read up on it and it said the recipe options are far fewer plus I love the function on here of adding a weekly menu and sending the ingredients to your shopping list, just brilliant.

Interesting. I did not do any of this. That is true, the germination was about 30 % for me in 4 days, and the first leaves are look different. They are long and narow.

Best video I have ever watched. Some are like watching paint dry. You skipped over all the noisy working parts and gave excellent content. I am in Europe and love my Thermomix. Looking forward to seeing other videos from you.

I have been a Thermomix owner for 15 years living in Australia. I use it nearly everyday and have used it for every possible recipe (except for deep frying- who needs to eat fried food). Plus blitzing soap to make washing liquid Face cream with 6 ingredients Moringa leaves blitzed to make powder for capsules I will never live without it! Brilliant

Don’t bang on your bowl with your spoon !!! It messes with the built in scale.

Too many toxic plastic and non-stick materials are contaminating the food.

What is the portion size? need to feed a family of 5 all big eaters?...

The Thermomix does not take up a lot of space on your bench - but what about all the attachments, etc? I am not convinced that you save space overall …

Great demonstration, but please don’t tap spoons or other gadgets on edge of thermomix bowl.

So the white bitter skin of lemon doesn’t ruin the lemonade?

I have one and I like it. Your information is very slanted to your favorite brand also This unit will easily cook to 36 hours on a single setting-- i did it just the other day-- you are mis-informed. Plus you need a bigger pot than you are demonstrating with--- you have no room in there for anything. If you ad the right size pot this units nicely hangs on the side with the clip.

As of 2024, would you buy the TM6 or wait for the TM7?

Sir, I thank you for showing this machine. I have been “eyeballing” this item for some time. This topped it off. I am sold. European products always seem to be superior to what is sold in the states. I will probably be in touch after the new year (2024)

Great video. You are passionnate. Last month, I bought a TM6 and I love it. My consultant told me not to tab on the mixing bowl while on the device as it may affect the accuracy of the scale. I will try the risotto. I was waiting to see the pizza dough at the end.

What is the ma cooking time of the pro Sous Vide?

I enjoy cooking and learning new skills while I cook. Unfortunately, I think the Thermomix concept will neither impart any knowledge about why and when one performs certain actions in cooking nor the enjoyment thereof. It's a paint by numbers approach for the gadget fanatics. Take it away and most people wouldn't be able to poach an egg.
