Thank you so much for this, I’m definitely making some chicken soup tonight with my new cheap slow cooker. 🫶🏾

Thanks for sharing. I just made this. :-) I threw wings and probably more meat than I should into he cheese cloth. It had a very strong chicken flavor so I added a block of cream cheese and it toned it down and made it yummy creamy. I'm going to throw it over egg in noodles or rice. 🍚

Option: follow this recipe up until you take the cheesecloth bag out, then add chopped up/shredded rotisserie chicken and some egg noodles (any variety, thicker is better, imho). 15-20 minutes in a slow cooker (depending on your heat setting) or 10-12 minutes at a simmer in a dutch oven and voila, you just created your favorite chicken noodle soup, enjoy!

Nice video! Can we cook this in a Dutch oven on the stove if we don’t have a crockpot?
@chidaatzfantasyfootballlea70574 жыл бұрын
Of course you can! Just keep it on low after getting to a boil and taste test regularly as it cooks! Bon Appetit!

Please do not tell people to latch the slow cooker when it's cooking. It's for traveling. I googled it and the crock pot website says do not do it as it builds up pressure. Could crack the pot.

why do u need chicken stock
@u2opia25 жыл бұрын
All one needs is a fine mesh strainer. Not difficult at all to remove the carcass after making the bone broth.
@nicestguyinhouse6112 Жыл бұрын
Or you could just use a cloth and not need to pick out the bones from the meat. its easier with the cloth for sure

I think even I could make this,and I can't even boil water

Not sure why the packet broth is necessary? Not really from scatch.. but good video otherwise mate
@u2opia25 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, this is a terrible video. You don't need chicken broth when you already have a carcass. Just water. So many things wrong.

As noted in the description, adding the chicken broth portion is a shortcut for time. I also make long-cook chicken soup without "help" but it takes many more hours. The satchel doesn't only hold the carcass...it also holds aromatics and with concentrated flavoring potential. Bon Appetit.
