What's with these yanks telling people their life story. I want to know how to build a live tank with a aerator pump. Curious why you use a uni2uni knot rather than an FG knot for braid2leader? I’ve learned to tie the FG (using a tool) and I get much further casts; because it slips through the smallest guide without any friction, such as the uni2uni. It’s a PITA knot but the tool makes it WAY easier! Just thought I’d share. Your tips and tricks are awesome! I love chatter weights but learned better ways to use them through your video! Thanks! 👊

Liked your video pretty cool. I live in North Texas and two of my buddies from Okla are coming down to go tuna fishing and spend the week in Galveston. We would like to fish different areas and hope you can provide some suggestions. Fishing for trout, red fish, flounder, really anything. The trip is Nov 16-23-2024, with Tuna fishing on the 21 & 22. The other days we are roaming around fishing mixing in a little surf and jetty etc fishing. Also could you suggest rod, reel size, line and leader test. Currently I live by a lake and have 30lb to 80lb braid on my bass and catfish rods. Thank you

I just placed an order on 2 fat boy pros and 3 soft dine xl. It is going to be my first winter where I wade saltwater. I normally fish from the boat but I am getting waders soon. I have thrown the paul brown original before many years ago with no luck. I am hoping this winter I can find luck on this lure and I can catch a new pb trout. What are some ways you work this lure when it is cold in december

Back when I had my boat, I would go to the Bolivar side of the Texas City Dike and I crumbled up a bagful of potato chips and throw all the chips in the water. The oil from the chips made a large slick on the water and once a sea gulls saw the floating chips they would flock to the point where there would be dozens of gulls diving on the slick eating the floating chips. It was a busy area with lots of boat traffic. We would wait and soon here come all the boats frantically stopping and casting into the slick under the diving gulls. They would be pretty frantic and rude to each other for nothing.

I need to replace the deck on my '75 Aquasport 170 and I was thinking of using 1/2" Nidacore with tapped aluminum backing under the console and helm seating/leaning but this "K-300" has me intrigued. I Google K-300 and I'm having trouble finding it. I thought, at one time, to use Coosa but from what I understand it too can allow screws to work loose. Respectfully disagree 2 fish will not change the eco system off the Texas Coast. It will definetly hurt the sport fishing and charter companies. No one is going to pay high dollar to get three trout. Guys like you catch but dont eat, which is not good tobegin with. Too much government regulation based on Austin opinon is wrong.Thwy will not move the limit back which sucks. Respectfully disagree.

The real question is, why are singular fishers being limited and no regulations towards commercial fishing?? And catch and release makes no sense. Now you’re just potentially putting the fish’s life at risk for no reason..

Almost broke my ankle getting to the slick to cast around it but hooked up 5 nice trout and successfully caught two keepers. Used a good ole mirror-lure.
