as a 73 yo with occasional vertigo and balance issues, my heart goes out to him... needless to say, platforms and jumping/climbing down from height is a no no or at least (be careful) for me... sometimes our pride heals a lot slower than our body....

Your hat is stuck about 6" into the mud where his head stuck it. Man that had to hurt. Glad you are OK Kevin. Could have been a lot worse. Good that you kind of toppled in stages.
