These commentators might’ve failed physics class. The reason you are able to hit the ball forward while swinging the paddle to the right, is because the direction of your paddle is slightly left at contact.

whatever your stance on the rivalry between the two sports, you must appreciate pickle for putting a raquet in the hands of our childhood heroes and past tennis legends again.

Dude. Over the centuries humans have done nothing but bit$h about anything and everything. Oh you can’t handle boxing, you have to kick in order to be successful. Boom Kickboxing Oh you can’t handle kickboxing, you have to throw knees, and elbows to be successful. Boom Muay Thai. Oh you can’t handle Muay Thai, you have to head butt and make dick shots to win, boom Krav Maga. Oh you can’t handle you can’t handle striking, boom wrestling. Oh you can’t handle wrestling, boom bjj And so on and so forth the BS.

That was spectacular. And I love watching LJ and ALW play together. Commentators feeding every ounce of credit to ALW was kind of obnoxious though. LJ is a beast in her own right.

How many clicked because they saw Steffi in the header photo? She still dazzles without even trying. But seriously - the whole thing was entertaining. Johnny Mac is still Johnny Mac, Andre still has those lightning reflexes. Andy and Michael solid as rocks. Very cool.

No point me watching this, I already Agassi n Roddick prob won! McEnroe is the older generation before them, and Age / flexibility always catches up with you! Pickleball requires a lot of back n knee bending......obvs who won, I'm off without even watching!😂

I get why people like to play Pickleball -- it's far easier to get competent at it than tennis. So for older people, I'm not surprised they would play Pickleball. But the truth is that it requires far less cardio and far less skill than tennis. I'm surprised that someone like Andy Roddick at 41 years old would play Pickleball over tennis.

I would HATE to play on this court because the kitchen line is very hard to see next to the light gray. They should have reverse the colors so the back panels are dark, then white kitchen line, then light gray kitchen TBH they need to remove the light gray entirely. I know these guys did fine but I could barely see the ball over the light gray
