I literally did this install on my Frontier. I decided to wire it to the trailer fuse. Even though it has constant power, you can always turn the module off. The only thing on will be the “mode” light, which will not draw enough power to drain the battery. Just like any other security/alarm blinking light on the dash.

Hey, my door fell off (due to this issue) so i need that set piece as well that firmly locks the door in place when closed. Do you know if that piece can be purchased?

Yes that can be purchased, I ordered one but I managed to remove the old one from the old door so I returned it but look it up on Amazon name: Toyota Tacoma gas door latch and I believe the order number is 77366-35030 Let me know if you find it!

Hey so the screws I used are screws that are used to hold down your toilet I don’t know the exact name but you can find them by typing toilet bowl bolts there perfect for this project and I believe there only like 1.90 at Home Depot

I'm glad I found this video. This is so much simpler than trying to epoxy the handles in place. I love the layout of the French door style, but the icemaker is another story. Mine has upper and lower icemakers, the upper one froze up solid and I just turned it off. From what I understand that is a common problem with the Samsung Ice makers. Your idea for this repair is great. Thanks for posting.

Don’t buy dewalt mower. I have a gas one and it sucks. If you like getting blasted with grass while the bag is on, then this is the mower for you. The bag sucks. The flap to keep the bag secured constantly is opening and the bolt to keep it secured comes loose. To change the height you mine as well he a strongman to get it to move. The mower sucks. Pay more for a reputable brand.

Looks good with the black door. A jack nut is also a inexpensive option if the original screw holes get damaged during removal.

Nothing, you can still remove what’s in there, the vacuum just helps remove water / and can get something stuck in there easier, but if you don’t have a vacuum, pull the toilet out and use hanger / snake to pull/ push item out good luck!
