This is brilliant! I have one fleece to clear the debris out of, so making the tumbler isn't practical, I can use a high velocity dryer from my dogs. Is there another approach other than the tumbler?
@designerlynne6370Ай бұрын
How about a wire waste paper basket and use a blower on that? Alternatively, a 'willowing' table: we made one with a frame 3' x 5' made from 2" x 2" lumber covered with half inch wire building cloth. Pull the fleece apart by hand and shake it on the table. The rubbish drops through and you are left with a clean-ish fleece.

What brand of scissor's are you using ? plz
@designerlynne63707 ай бұрын
They are professional taylors shears; very expensive as we were clothing designers. However, so little work is done with scissors that any will do ;-)

He seems so curious at the end after all the weight is removed. I hope his leg mends. You made a difference to him. ❤❤ This video reminds me of a tale I once heard ... --- A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement. She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference for that one!”

The first Bella you had got chased by a dog and injured her leg. Then you took her to the vet and they performed surgery on her patella and she suddenly had a serious infection and went to the afterlife.

I remember when you had a llama named Bella who injured her leg and got a patella luxation and she did not look like that llama. 0:18

Ahhh! Bella (Number One) indeed she underwent surgery for the luxated patella. Sadly she passed away from a bone infection from surgery😪 Bella (number two) was retired to The Llama Sanctuary after her devoted carer had to move home, but still wanted to visit her. Yes, the Bella's are very different and WELL SPOTTED!🥰

The Llama Sanctuary is presently in the North Okanagan region of British Columbia. Presently, it is operating from a temporary location after being forced to leave it's long-term rental home last year. We are currently trying to find benefactors to help secure a Forever Home for The Sanctuary, together with its 40 resident llamas and alpacas. PLEASE help and spread the word: fundrazr.com/822Va5

So scary to me that they would just put a young llama with so much of her life ahead of her down just because she broke her leg. Animals, like us, want to live. So I'd think the animal would rather experience temporary pain, recover and live many happy years to come then just die. Makes me sick to think about. With humans we keep them alive even when there is no chance of recovery and with animals they are so quick to give up on them. Thank you so much for fighting for your beautiful llama. I can tell that you really love these adorable, quirky furballs and every single one is precious to you. It looks like she also had a cria that would have been orphan.

Llamas are pretty badass, they can and will kill attacking predators such as wolves or coyotes by trampling them to death!
@LlamaSanctuary4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment, but I correct you. Llamas do not kill attacking predators!! They could trample a chicken if they chose to but our experience is that they live side by side happily. It would be highly irresponsible for anyone to expect a llama to kill a predator; they lead their charges away from the predator.
