Appears way underpowered. I have snow 3ft deep where I am & need a good snowblower. I was considering this one but after seeing it bogging down with only a few inches, I won't be going with this unit.

How do you do the top one if the tree isn't straight?
@JablesOutdoors2 ай бұрын
@danielyeroshalmi7492 If the tree has a crown or curve in one direction, you can shore up the log either crown up or down and make your first face cut on one side. You would then rotate the log 90 degrees, allowing you to run the Alaskan mill on the now straight cut. No matter what, you'll end up with a curved board by doing this. If the log is substantial enough, you can square 3 sides first then begin milling boards. Hope that helps?

Will resetting my TQ Transmiter also "fix" this, or do I have to do this step manually? I am having problems with my Slash 4x4 VXL blinking fast green and no amount of tech support can fix . They said to send in my ESC and Reciever module for repair. I want to try all the youtube fixes first. :)

Dude you hold the shotgun/rifle in a way that makes me nervous from watching it on a screen If people in our training handled any weapon that way in the times i was a gendarmerie they are not going to make it far and would get punished if they continue doing it despite verbal commands. But this video is 6 years old you prob improved the way you handle a firearm i hope

I bought one of these about 12 years ago I think. She was a beast right out of the gate. Alberta winters...acreage driveway and such...2 inches of snow or 2 feet of snow...didn't matter...she ate it all up and threw it just fine. Sit all summer, come winter... -10 or -30...2 pulls and she fired every time. Only changed the oil on it i think 3 times and even then I found the used oil relatively clean. Loved this machine...but sadly all good things wear out...tranny started slippin about 3 years ago. Some of the gears stopped working...I did replace a few minor parts and had her in last year for service and new belts...but one last job this past weekend and the tranny finally died. Engine's still pretty good...takes 3-4 pulls now...ha. Augers still good to...just the tanny's done and a few other minor things are worn out to. Light winters the past few years but to begin with she cleared ALLOT of snow and never complained. Loved the power, speed and the size...to bad they don't make this size anymore or I'd go invest in another one asap.

This beats a gas jackhammer. Electric motors always work and small engines are very fussy and cannot be used in confined spaces. However, the next generation MX Fuel breaker will improve runtime.

When you “reset all” does that also reset your oil life? I know when you reset oil life it asks just to reset oil, not all.

MTD sold this same unit as an attachment for their older garden tractors. I have one on an old MTD 800 series garden tractor (20HP) and the thing is a beast. I feel like I wouldn't want to try to handle a walk-behind that large with a smaller engine.
@EverybodyLovesMoe Жыл бұрын
Heh Jables, so you actually got the BIG one. I almost did back in 2008 because I have a long laneway. I opted for the 33" instead and even at that I find the machine too big for me to handle. I found I had to muscle it around and being a small guy wasn't and still isn't a whole lot of fun. I had to pick up the front end to reverse most of the time. I think these larger machines need tracks.

The instructions clearly state not to prime either filter. And not sure if you did you would not use contaminated fuel from old filter housings.
@anthonyherrera699 Жыл бұрын
I don't know, However, just me dealing with a fuel filter I would want to work in a clean area. It just takes once and you get a metal shaving in it. You ask how I always blame the garage gremlins, have no clue you did everything right, however you contaminate something.
