I'm sorry to see the terrible condition of that soil. It has been worked with machinery while way too wet resulting in hard unworkable clods....such a sad state for that field. That farmer has big regrets, I am sure. Imagine how tiny plant roots might germinate and try to grow in that soil as you struggle to break it up with your hands. Enjoying your finds, Simon.

Precisamente estoy en tu Galicia, en A Guarda pasando unos días con la familia y me he acordado de tí, aunque no se de dónde exactamente eres aquí hay un par de playas en las que estoy sacando cosas interesantes con el pinpointer de entre las rocas, casi todo monedas de Franco pero me lo estoy pasando genial. Simon you did find a lot of treasures. The 1935 coin is Gorgeous George and you can see his nose looking to the right. Your channel is improving with each video and you are doing a great job with the music and intro, and you are becoming more relaxed.

Hi Simon, that silver pig is a nice find! Also I am a letterpress printer and I print with metal type like the piece you found (looks like a letter L) on both an 1860s press and a 1960s press :) The type you found is probably late 19th century or so.

Great finds! Love the pig 😍 - I think the gilded oval might be from a cuff link. The two shaped pieces of lead might be counters from a game or used for counting? The clay marble could also be from a game - maybe jacks/knuckle bones? The horse is nice too 🙂 A fab collection of finds.

Hello Simon. I had just finished watching The Scottish Detectorist's latest, and to my fortune, up came the Spanish Detectorist. Who could ask for better. I have found silver jewelry and silver coins, but never have found a silver pig, that is unique. More to come for you I hope, not necessarily another pig, but more great treasure. Cheers from Texas.
