Thanks man. I have used Kerosene in my lamps for years and its getting so hard to find. Most places I can find it your looking at like 4 to 5 a gallon. I wanted to test it myself but just havent taken the time, What little brightness differance there is, its negligible. Im on the gulf coast in Mobile and looking to be hit by the next hurricane so this will come in handy, Your video should have a million views, but I want to thank you for doing it for me, May God bless.

@@1emayte tanks for the kind comment.. the diesel works great and you can always raise the wick for a little more brightness.. being in Mobile and the storms that come through you do need some kind of backup light.. I also use stick lights, you might want to check those videos out, they are much brighter and use batteries.. I would love a million views!! Thanks again.. take care and God bless as well

Thank you I have been looking for this type of information, As I live in a older mobile home and wanted to rely less on my furnace and use one of these. This would not be economical to run as I thought they would be. Even in California it seems it would just be better to run the furnace on the mobile home than to use one of these.

Kerosene is expensive, I need to check my station to see the cost of kerosene.. they do put some heat out for sure.. just keep in mind that you might get 10-11 hours of burn time on a full tank.. check into a perfection heater, it has a cotton wick and burns diesel which is way cheaper… thanks for watching
