After hearing all the HD1 OST's I feel the best way to describe the different feel is in HD1 They're in our neighbourhood whilst In HD2 we are in theirs

imagine this music plays if you finally reached Cyberstan system and both automatons and cyborgs are there, seeing cyborg enemies but in HD better 3d renders and these guys are more aggressive than automatons, seeing the initiates, squad-leader (precursor commissars), old berserkers, butchers (precursor hulk scorcher), k9 hounds, IFV, older hulk (precursor heavy devastators) and the scary one - hulk warlords (this time fitted with riot shield and bunker/tower cannons and more scarier than regular hulks, plus it reacts to you aiming at their weakspots on their eye only, no weakspots at the back) just imagine fighting factory striders and hulk warlords on cyberstan, these kinds of fights would probs match the same lvl as Creek, oh and to make it worse/PTSD, difficulty - Exercise in futility - the definition of insanity - inner circles of hell, nothing but heavies and commissars/squad leaders with riot shields (known as legionnaires)

Thanks to mods, I have this in my game and it makes me happy. Definitely makes fighting a million automatons on difficulty 10 a lot more worth it.

If they end up bringing back the Great Eye or a completely different and deadly version of it, we're in deep shit. I remembered how the Great Eye's laser cut through vehicles like a hot orbital stratagem through a Terminid Hive.

i love HD2 but i really wish it had the same depth in tracks, this one is one of my favs game tracks ever honestly.

Helldivers 2 music is kinda mid. The best sound track is the Helldivers 2 main theme and the extraction theme, but the terminids combat music sucks, the automatons combat music is pretty good, and the illuminate combat music is definitely mid. This is the best song in HD1 and I wish Arrowhead did something like this for HD2

it’s just a random top down coop shooter no need for intense ost the composer at arrowhead

From the gameplay I’ve seen, this definitely fits way better with the OG squids than the new ones. This feels like Halo, whereas the new Illuminate embrace a bunch of classic sci-fi stuff like the flying saucers, tripods, and synths

This song gives me huge chills, the composer did an awesome job
