There is no friendly fire like when you're ON the objective, defending it. You're about to call an artillery strike to deny some area, but you get downed and thus drop the red signaling beacon.

Counter point: that’s our theme. In helldivers 1 we were the underdogs, a vastly outnumbered and outgunned species winning battles only through superior tactics and discipline. In the first galactic war we were fighting for survival, now we’refighting for conquest. The song change reflects that. We went from a desperate last stand against a merciless race operating a vastly superior war machine to being a race made of vastly superior war machines.

Look at the layout of the galactic map in Helldivers 2, both the bugs and bots are positioned slightly diagonally, leaving room for a whole new faction ( possibly illuminate based ) at the southern edge of the map.

had it on the vita as well! Kinda funny though because it took the vita a WHILE to load the game so whenever I'd host a game people would immediately throw shade like "ooook who's the vita player??" Still though, good times. Playing it on steam now still an amazing game, holds up incredibly well.
