What if I don't have dry milk powder?
@JustAddMoreButter8 күн бұрын
You can use regular milk if you don't have any powdered milk on hand. This is taken straight from the description box of the video, listed just below the ingredients list: "If you don't have powdered milk on hand, yes, you can use regular milk. Here's what you need to do. Instead of adding in 1/4 cup of powdered milk, you will add in 1 cup of regular milk and TAKE AWAY 1 cup of water from the recipe. So only add in 1/2 cup of water instead of the 1 1/2 cups the recipe calls for. Just note, this change will make a much "richer" tasting bread."

Your basic loaf of bread relies on the high protein level of bread flour to develop a strong gluten network. There are some bread recipes that you can use all-purpose for, things that are ultra-tender, fluffy such as no-knead focaccia, challah, and cinnamon rolls. For this recipe, I would stick with bread flour. 🍞

I always leave the paddle in - it only makes a small indent in a couple of slices. I do like your method. Very diffident from that in the manuals and I will try it one day

I wonder if this would work with cinnamon raisin bread since you usually have to hand roll the loaf yourself to make the swirl of cinnamon. Ive been making bread by hand and its EXHAUSTING spending 4+ hours making a few loaves of bread. Looking into one of these machines to save me some time!

It amazes me that most people still don't know how to actually bake a potato (the reason why ibno longer order baked potatoes in restaurants). But please don't use any electric mixer on potatoes unless you actually like the gluey texture. Ugh. Not me. A potato ricer, masher or a fork is preferable

So excited to be able to eat bread again. THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤

Recipe is good but I’d use another 1/4 cup water or milk, like 1 cup milk, 3/4 cup water. But I add 2 tbsp. Skim milk powder. 1/4 cup oil, 1/4 cup sugar. Rest is the same. Wet first then dry in bread machine , yeast last. Dough cycle.

Can you freeze these after cooking?
@JustAddMoreButterАй бұрын
You can definitely freeze the filling, but I'm not sure how the bell pepper will react to being frozen and then thawed. The bell pepper might come out with a weird texture, but then again, I haven't tried it myself.
@SD-dt4xfАй бұрын
@JustAddMoreButter I've done some research and I think I will parboil the peppers for 5 mins, stuff them with the cooked filling, then freeze them. When I'm ready to eat them, cook from frozen and top with the cheese near the end. I think the pepper may be a bit softer but I can't eat them all soon enough and it will be nice to have something like this ahead on the days I don't have time or the desire to cook.

What is wrong with your husband not liking honey roasted peanuts? That's just crazy. Holy Cow! These look amazing. This was pretty easy. The store bought ones are very salty I think their nuts are coated in that extra fine salt. For sure it would be a good idea to add some salt to the mix. I don't think it would change the chemical composition of the candy?

I wasn't interested in eating candy bars until three Musketeers candy bars came out, then zero candy bars, when I go to Wallgreens I always buy the big pay day bars, but when I'm eating it with chips I buy 2 small ones, but I do know how I ate a whole box of twenty, they always tell you on Amazon do you want to order again. I'm gonna wait a little while 😅❤❤

I like ordering the big boxes of candy bars from Walmart because they're so cheap, sometimes it comes out to 50 cents a bar. I do have to use some restraint so I don't eat them all up within a week. lol

I ordered a box of pay day candy bars from Amazon, a box of twenty, and hid them under my bed, ate every one!!. 😅I have my picks of candy bars, this is my favorite, I usually 2 regular or 2 big pay day bars, and my other ones monds and snickers. l love eating pay day bars with Lay's potato chips .something sweet and salty. 😊😊. I been watching the History Channel a few months back and they showed how all these companies got started with making all these candy bars and the names. the only ingredients I need are the marshmallows and the sweet milk, can get both at the dollar store. 😊

I made this in my breadmaker today. A very dry and dense loaf it made. Wont be using this recipe again. It's been two hours since I made it dry as sticks and will probably be inedible tomorrow. Very disappointed.

Add an egg. I don’t know why most bread machine recipes don’t suggest this but it immediately fixed my dense bread issue.

You can freeze the cookie cups part after it's baked and cooled, but I don't think the filling will hold up well (texture wise). I haven't tried it though, so I could be wrong. Next time I make these, I'll freeze some for science! Thank you!!
