You see less and less of this kind of crackle and more of a modern version with delay to crackle with titanium. It even sounds different and better imo. So far, there are no youtube vids on how to do the modern crackle.

As impressive as these were, I'm not sure I would have the guts to attend a fireworks display with homemade fireworks that big. At least not that close up anyway. There is only a few seconds difference between a fireworks display and a carpet bombing.
