Well, its that time of year again! The biggest UK pyro event of the year, and this year I pulled out all the stops!
All rockets are homemade by myself (apart from the small whistle rocket pack, in which we bought, and then quick fused ourselves).
Enjoy!

Hope you enjoyed the display, as much as we did firing it!
A few shout outs go to Colspyro, who gave me some great tips for the colours you see here (www.youtube.com...)
And Skyisthelimitinc who has shown loads of support for us amateur pyro's. He's got a new website up and running so check it out! :
skyisthelimitin...
And to all my subscribers that makes the youtube pyro community so awesome to be apart of!
Until next year!

@AirrowRocket Over 2 months of work done in 5 minutes! quite depressing when you actually sit down and think about it! but to me and the rest of amateur pyro's like yourself its worth every minute of prep! Yeah thats what i was going for this year, choreographed rockets instead of just a load of single ignitions! but i think it payed off! i was pleased with the results! thanks again for the support buddy

A lot of the chemicals that were once easy to get for experimentation are now restricted due to events such as Manchester arena. The hobby of homemade pyro is now in the past because of such events. The restrictions have made it harder for chemicals to get into the wrong hands but also spoilt it for innocent hobbyists.

@murdoch2486 Quickmatch leader for shells, is it quick enough to hit a spollete or timefuse, then run down the side and hit the lift cup? Or do i need to ad another 1/16th or 1/8th of an inch to compensate?
@1995marines
@1995marines 13 жыл бұрын
On the first rocket you show what are the small devices not the big red and brown shell, but the small firecracker like shells. What effect do they give out?
@murdoch2486
@murdoch2486 14 жыл бұрын
@1995marines yeah, its my own design of device ignition, i call them outserts! as apposed to inserts, that are collectively located in a larger shell. yes, everything you see here is homemade, apart from the little whistle rocket barrage, they are commercial rockets, but i quick fused a few packs together to make them more interesting! :P glad youre enjoying the vids

@murdoch2486 cool, I've been trying to find an american site which will ship to the UK, the fuse prices here in England are so high! you would think that there were dangerous or something! :P Do you think it would be quick enough to use as a pass fire? At the moment I am trying to pick from either this fuse or home-made quick match made with brought black match. Which do you think is best?
@murdoch2486
@murdoch2486 13 жыл бұрын
@0123legoman3210 its not fast enough if you are relying on it to ignite your shell delay, as well as igniting the lift charge. youll be better with actual quickmatch, using kraft pipe and blackmatch
