Freezer seems to be cold but Fridge isn't cold. Coils cleaned off, Condenser feels warm so it's working?, and the fan is running. But after a few hours the E FF code keeps popping up. LG Fridge is only 2yrs old Thoughts?? Should I look up this lawsuit?

Disclosure- im not an appliance repair guy and never have been, but I'm well researched on the problem I was having. 2 years seems short to have the same problem I had. The freezer can seem cold when it's getting low on refrigerant, but use a thermometer to check it. I keep mine at 0°, but when it was failing it was only 20° in the freezer. Ice cream was soft and no ice in the door was my first clue. Check the condenser with a non contact thermometer , it should be like 20 deg warmer than room air. I'd also look up your model on the lawsuits! Let us know what you find and thanks for watching.

Your compressor will work even if no refrigerant. Is the line to condenser warm? Best way to know is it should be about 20 deg warmer than room air temp. If your house is 72, that line should be about 92. Check that and it will give some insight. Is the ref and freezer as cold as it should be?

Got a "free" wet saw" looks which looks like this dewalt. The strangest thing is that after replacing the armature, I noticed the blade was offset about 1/4" off which means the blade is outside of the guide. Can't tell if it's just the bearing that is causing this issue or if anything else is at play. Looking at your video, looks like it could be the bearing causing the entire issue. Appreciate your input.

OK, very much appreciate the informative video. We just received a "FREE" fridge just for this reason. And I looked and wondered "WHY" no one had found where the foul or leaks where? This explains it ALL. You say you replaced everything, re built the whole fridge, so there are replacement parts for this?? And where did you buy them?? And did LG help you out on any of them? I might look to purchase some of these parts in the future to keep this fridge going, we're in the PHX metro area. I have not finished watching your video, but did you notice where and how your repair guy tied in and spliced this line up inside the fridge, at the evaporator where the ice is made? LOTS of questions, and YES, I am looking to resolve this as you did. Thank You, GOD Bless !!!

There is much to it, and I won't claim the video is as good as some others say it "could have been"! Finish the vid and get what you can from it, but the splice is made in a very accessible spot so its not hard. I did get my new parts early on (when we thought that was the problem) and "free" from LG as part of the warranty. I did have to hire and tech to "diagnose" the issue (of course he turned out to be wrong) but I got new parts. The parts were shipped to him from LG. Short version is, even after installing them all, new EVERYTHING- it didn't fix it. That's actually what motivated me to dig in to this. Thanks for watching, we're working out the details on another vid for this and will post it as soon as we can finish it.

Probably had to buy "ALL" the fridges back. I "AM" going to tear into the back panel and splice in. My wife likes this fridge, so I'll just fix it for her. Thank You, GOD Bless. Of course they can't dive into a repair like that and open the case, their plan always was to wear customers out with trying to fix it until warranty runs out, or you just buy a new one.
