Elevated camp food! Wood fired Pesto Chicken and toasted Ciabatta!

You do this camping? What cooler do you use? Would love to make this meal on an overnight camping trip.

Yes it's something we have often made at home over the fire as well as other recipes we're adapting for camping to open up the meal options. We will likely make more vids of these soon. Does require extra prep prior to leaving but we don't mind to have at least a couple additional options beyond ordinary camp food. In this case it was really just some slicing and putting stuff in disposable ziploc bags. Cooler we normally use is a lifetime high performance like this: www.walmart.com/ip/Lifetime-55-Quart-High-Performance-Cooler-90949/490384164?athbdg=L1600&from=/search Works great, is tough, and is made in USA so we like that too.

@@fourboysgarage745 how heavy is the packed cooler for you? We normally camp a few miles from the car so would have to carry it. I guess dry ice would probably be better too.

We mainly use that cooler when van camping, if your packing in maybe an extra zip bag with a little ice, then the chicken bag in it? Veggies close by to stay cold? Should get you a few miles I would imagine. Just make sure to cook and eat soon right?!!
