Hi folks, it’s been a while since I posted the last video. I’ve had a busy year, so I did not have time to edit all my footages of this growing season. Now we are entering our greetings season, it is the good time for me to be slow down and spending time to look back my garden back in Spring and Summer. This is one of my videos to show my peonies and roses in their blooming time in May. I hope you guys like it. Thanks for watching and support! Much appreciated! Cheers!

Do you have Honey Dijon? How is it compared to Honey Dijon? Which is more fragrant and long lasting?
@smallbackyardfun2 ай бұрын
@@interestingvlogs7185 I do have, I prefer Koko Loko’s colourations to Honey Dijion. Honey Dijion is a bit different in flower colour, with more yellow tan tones. Honey Dijion is last longer and more fragrant than Koko Loco. But honestly, both of them dont belong to fragrant rose list in my mind. Honey Dijion is also to have better disease resistance especially with black spot, but Koko Loko repeats flowering better

How long does this flower last on the branch? Is it fragrant? This one looks like Ebb Tide. Is there any colour difference? Which is better between Ebb Tide and Twilight zone?
@smallbackyardfun2 ай бұрын
@@interestingvlogs7185 if you are living in hot climate, it won’t last long, due to the dark colour which is easily scorched by the heat, however if you are living in the cooler area, it will last 3-4 days. Very fragrant rose. Twilight Zone is similar to Ebb Tide since they are sibling roses. Flowers of Twilight Zone are bigger than Ebb Tide, but less flowers than Ebb Tide. You can’t go wrong for both of them. I myself prefer Twilight Zone.

@@Lotoboy21999 thanks for your comment and watching. @@phamdangvu Hi, this one lasts pretty long. The flowers are beautiful and huge and the colour keeps changing by the time. @@smallbackyardfun thank you so much for answering, I always admire your enthusiasm with gardening and your videos have helped me a lot with choosing rose for my garden. I've been on the hunt for this rose for so long, sad to know the blooms don't last long on her. It's usually hot and kind of humid during summer where I live in Ontario. If you have to suggest some roses that have long vase life (also last long on the bush) what would you recommend? Thanks again 😊
@smallbackyardfun5 ай бұрын
@@phamdangvu thanks for your compliment and glad that my videos have helped you. If you wanted to choose some long vase life varieties I highly recommend you should go with Kordes roses, all Kordes roses are usually very healthy and long lasting roses. Downside is lack of fragrance. Apparently Palatine now is partnership with Kordes, you can go to their website in the new year to take an order, or second suggestion is you can go with Select roses from Brad Jalbert, a Canadian hybridizer, you also can find his roses from Palatine as well. Hope that helps!

Yes, my garden has drip irrigation system, and all I can say it is definitely game changer, saving your time, your water bill, helping the plants growing better because the water goes slowly and deeply down to the root system and also I can mix soluble fertilizer into my drip system as well, highly recommend for any gardens
