Hi & Thank you! No, however I probably should! 🙈 I live in Nidderdale so spend my life on the hills & trails which I think helps with strength training and most of my runs are slow & leisurely however I do try and do a training session on a Tuesday and I put an effort in at Parkrun each week.

@@Ted-offroad Thanks Ted, Otley based here so not too far away. I’ve had 2-3 years of repetitive injuries so was just curious as you always seem so consistent with your running. Great running, sub 2.45 there at least with proper training 👍

@@Ted-offroad Fingers crossed, rolled my ankle coming down the Chevin so haven’t been able to run for 6 weeks and counting. I’ll be spectating Chevin Chase if I’m not ready to run! Good luck with it, and the Chevin Parkrun is a great route.

Hi Mark, sadly I’m not in the lakes this weekend! I won the place last year when I finished 3rd but I can’t make it on Saturday and I’m running the Yorkshire marathon on Sunday. It was a lovely hotel although it was busy being a family resort (we thought it might be quieter being a bit more out of season). The hotel next door was adults only and much quieter however it could be said that looses some of the atmosphere. I would like to have had more time to explore but we went all inclusive and just wanted a chilled out holiday on this occasion. I love the Greek islands and the people are lovely.

It was a tough race but I really enjoyed it. It was quite a challenge holding the camera and scrambling over that terrain. Malton was the following day so less than 24hrs rest! 😂😂 Thanks for the comment. 👍🏼

It’s definitely a bucket list event. I think entries have just opened for 2025 and I don’t believe you need to do any qualifying events now so entry is easy, the run however is not so easy! 😂 👍🏼

Hi, I’m not too sure which section that is but it was all very slippy with the conditions. Some of the descents were safer off the path when tackling at speed but normally I am sure the paths would be the better option.
