Hi Paul, I have heard a few people say that but these are very different and even come in a wide fit if needed. If you’re in the market for some new trail shoes I would try and find an outlet where you can try them on. I am very pleased with my purchase! Thanks for the comment/feedback too! 👍🏼

these are more foot shape with a wide toe box, and also come in a standard or wide fit... I would prefer zero or 4mm drop but they fit more like Altra/Topo than older inov-8's so I have just bought a pair to try.
