First off, I love your dog! You have the prettiest shade of blonde. Is that natural? I found a great product that will keep your curls from frizzing. It is called the hair drying headband by dryhairday.

Hi, your the first person I have ever seen that is the same first name as me that is also spelt the same. I’m wondering if you ever suffer from we frizz and what you do to combat it please. When I wet my hair to refresh it the wet frizz looks terrible and I can’t get on top of it x
@karinacurls
@karinacurls Жыл бұрын
Hi, that’s awesome! Nice to meet you, Karina :) frizz is something that we all have to deal with and it’s not always easy haha. My hair definitely gets more frizzy throughout the week, when I refresh my curls I use spray bottle to wet my hair and then I apply leave in conditioner and gel (diluted with water). I find that gel helps tame the frizz a little but it’s still there! Best advice I can give you - protect your curls drink the night (silk bonnet/pillowcase) and refresh with water and a little bit of product:) a little bit of frizz will always be there , it’s what makes our curls curl 😊

Love this look 🥰 I often do it when I’m on day 4/5 when my waves are a little more stretched & my hair is getting cray 🥵 it looks like a lot of effort was put in but it’s super easy 🥲🙏🏻 I add a little dry shampoo at the root to add volume

Hey Karina. can you tell me a little about the haircut you've got. I have the exact same curl pattern and density but I don't know what what to ask my hairstylist. she has given me too many layers all around my crown and that makes my ends look really stringy and I dont have any volume because I have fine hair.
@karinacurls
@karinacurls Жыл бұрын
Hi Rinih! I always make sure I go to a stylist that knows how to cut curly hair, we do haircut on dry hair so we can see how my curls fall , this helps with layering:) bring some image examples to show your stylist what look you’re trying to achieve! Layers are always great for curls when done properly, it helps shape your curls and give volume !

I use silk pillowcases to benefit my skin and hair. Silk reduces frizz and chances of hair breakage. Silk is also beneficial for your skin, as I prevents clogged pores, breakouts, fine lines and wrinkles. What are your favourite benefits of silk?

I'd do anything to get results like that. I've been selling my curly/wavy hair for over 20 years, yes I'm that old, but I've never been able to get the "right" products! But honey, I cannot afford CurlSmith. 😔💸 Any other recommendations? Plus, I think I have double the amount of hair as you which makes it even more difficult! You and your hair are lovely!!

Hi Mandie! Where are you based?:) lots of drugstore products that are more affordable and work just as great! Sometime you might need to play around with the amount of product you’re using too! If you have more hair you might want to use a little more than I do, as I have more fine thinner hair!:)

Your story is mine as well! I just started my curly hair journey a few weeks ago so I'm still learning. What are we supposed to ask for when getting our curly hair cut?
@karinacurls
@karinacurls Жыл бұрын
Hi Dawn, here are some tips for your curly haircut. I will also be making a video on it very soon, so stay tuned 😊 🌟 Make sure you find a specialist that knows how to work with curly hair and cuts your curls dry first to see the shape. 🌟 Do your research and prepare some photos “examples” of the shape that you want. 🌟 Get your hair cut every 3 months or so to reduce breakage and get rid of dry split ends. Your curls will be bouncy and shiny and it will promote hair growth. 🌟 Style your hair like you always do before getting your haircut to show your usual curl shape. 🌟 Have realistic expectations!
