If there isn't a foot cop in the game at normal gameplay unless mod or after chase, somehow i played the current version of the game (complete edition btw) i sometimes somehow got into chase phase from no where and it was due to a police on foot

GTA 4 was sooo good with the police, GTAV feels like a digital embodiment of how BLM or the MSM would portray them which really kills the immersion

It has its flaws, sure. It's far from perfect, both the base game and all of its DLCs, but I still love it. It's not in my top 3, but definitely in my personal top 10 of favorite games.

You know, you should go back to Watch Dogs and do an analysis on the police with both the Factions Redux and Living City mod. The way it changes and improves things so much is really impressive. I think you might like checking it out as well.

Issues: Cops always know where you are even under ground but they will try to search you on street level. Cops sometimes just spawn right infront of you in Online. Cops are never seen patrolling around only on their scripted locations. If you punch someone in the middle of no where you can get the cops after you. Gta 5 sucks in many ways due to poor development, and you can tell me ''but oh the game came out in 2013'' uh hello gta 4 came out before this game, and if you murdered people in alyways it's less likely that cops will know exactly where you are and know exactly what crime you have commited.

I think it would have been better if the Police AI had of worked on a wanted level. For instance non gun crimes would result in them dragging the player out of the car or they just draw their guns/tazers and then the scene ends with "Arrested" as at the time in the UK. The cops would only use guns in an armed situation. This is more flawed that the cop AI in GTA V is.

I don't remember police chases in this game.

There's quite a few variations with the police that are extremely hard to notice. If you kill enough cops inside of a small town, the locals will band together in a "posse" in order to try and help the law. This does not occur in big cities. Also, cops have noticable differences depending on the state. If it's a warm state then they'll wear cooler clothes, but if it's a cold state, they'll wear heavy coats and gloves
