The Godfather II - Police Behavior Analysis

Another old open-world game is analyzed over its police AI. Released in 2009, developed by former EA Redwood Shores, now defunct Visceral Games. The game has been delisted from every digital store as of 2014.

It's worth mentioning that the police can be your allies in battle against rival families if you bribe them.

I noticed a bit of an anachronism in that some police officers in this game, that takes place in 1958, wear Kevlars when Kevlar vests weren’t invented until 1976. Also I found it funny at 13:30 Civilian: *punches player* Also civilian when police officer beats him up in response: “Quit hitting me!”

Most of the cars ingame are from the 60s. Only three cars are from the 70s.

That's one thing I always questioned too. The cars used in the game mostly consist of late 60s to early 70s. And so do the clothing that most the characters wear. It's like they forgot the game was set in the late 50s, not the mid 60s
