This is why JLHA is the best. Seeing him fish is totally different. Daniel too. We all were in the same spot and same set up and same bait. Some reason he out fished all of us. AND… he gave them away. This dude is on a different level.

Dont forget southeastern swamis , to the left of the big parking lot . You should do a presention video of each spot , we need more fishermen and people enjoying, when someone says you burn the spot, i think they only fish sundays

Hi there what kind of bait was that and how do you tie it on the hook?
@jlhafishingisnotjustfishing17 күн бұрын
We were using mussels ghost shrimp and grunion . All of them we use a thread to tight them on a hook . Elastic fishing thread you can find them at amazon 10 rolls for 18 dollars
@gotwebsite117 күн бұрын
@@jlhafishingisnotjustfishing same as the mussels that are right there near those rocks? I took my mountain bike there and wasn't paying attention and the tide came in and had to crawl out of there through the water with my mountain bike last week. Is there a good time to fish after noon? how early do you get there and how long do you stay?

How do you not get caught on rocks and have to cut line there? In that rocky area I always got stuck
@jlhafishingisnotjustfishing23 күн бұрын
That is normal . But if you loose line after you stock wait 3 to 5 min your sinkers will get ways from rock . Also we use 50 pound braided line

@@jlhafishingisnotjustfishing and one more thing, why such a heavy weight? I use 1.5 Oz barrel sinker for carolina rig, you have much higher weight 5 Oz, seem pretty successful with it.
@jlhafishingisnotjustfishing23 күн бұрын
The razon we use size 4 oz 5 oz or 6 oz for many razon One because it stay longer at the same spot 2 it can go farther than smaller sinker do to line is 50 pound a small sinker can’t even go far . 3 most the time wave are stronger deeper water Or windy days it also help but for perch or fish from front line surf we use 1 0z calrolina rig
@ROTMGHaunted23 күн бұрын
@@jlhafishingisnotjustfishing great advice, what size rod do you use? Seems to handle all that weight well while casting. Tambien donde compras esa lina para que el camaron se queda en el hook? Alguien me dijo a comprar en amazon pero debe estar un lugar en SD no?

You guys are brave. I know there is a path to this higher ground but I would be very hesitant to wade at this tide height. I only fish this spot at zero to negative tides. Congrats on the big bass!

The last footage was incredible. I mean, it was national geographic grade. That guitarfish... seems like a hybrid of leopard shark (for its pattern) and a shovelnose. Hmmm someone has some explanation to the angry other half XD

Is it the best way to get the ray back to water? Using plier to grab its tail and pull? I usually use a stick (or rod butt) to push it back, but it is very tiring.
