Next time list the specifications, and show how you set the timing... otherwise good vid

The only comment I would make is don’t fast forward through your struggling with components. That gives the regular guy a better idea of what he’s getting into. Other than that, excellent video.

Hello, there is a problem on my 2008 Honda trx250tm ES fourtrax. the indicator on the display shows a different position compared to the position on the gearbox. for example on the screen it says that the gearbox is in first gear, but the gearbox is actually in neutral and the green light for neutral does not light up. when I press the small handle and the button down to put it in reverse, the green light for neutral comes on and the gearbox is in reverse gear. I note that I can't get the letter R on the screen at all. I changed the angle sensor but everything is the same. Does anyone have a solution?

We have a 2004 Rancher 400, we do not have to go through the retrieval procedure to get the code. The dashes are on as soon as you turn the switch on. We have replaced the angle sensor, ECM, 2 neutral indicator switches, checked all the wiring and continuity, we cannot seem to figure out why we cannot get the N instead of the dashes, any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated. Would a bad combination meter cause this? Code 12 is what it shows.

Finally a video where the technician actually shows how to get the reverse going by making a video of his left hand hand grip. I have been racking my brains out trying to figure it out for months. They don't explain how to do this in the service manual either. I don't suppose that you have a video on how to set the meter on a 2005 Honda Foreman 500 ES???

How can I get in contact with you? I have a 2013 ranger that has no forward gears, after my daughter switched from forward to reverse while driving. I have it removed and thought the forward chain was broken, but it is not. I really need some help and nobody locally knows anything about them, as well as their service dept. being booke for months. Thank you!

You may or may not be able to answer this question but how hard would you say this job is for a first timer? I’m fairly comfortable working with engines I do all the work on my cars. However I’ve never removed a head on anything before and I’m a bit nervous about getting the timing right and all the seals right. Is it pretty straight forward with the service manual and just takes time to get things right. Or is it more of a job where expertise is needed and I should just contact a local shop? Also, my exhaust port on the head is covered in carbon. I haven’t done a compression test but I know I need to replace the head seals so I figured I should just do a full head rebuild while I’ve got it apart. Everything is stock parts from 2005. Would you recommend I try this or take it to a shop? I won’t hold you accountable haha just want some advice to consider form someone that’s done the job before.

Twice you mention the "two pin connector", but you never show where it is. If it's a key part of the process, it 'd be nice to be sure it's the right one. Thanks, other than that, good job!

Why do you not give ONE single spec out of the manual such as what the PSI range is, what the valves should be set at etc? Why also did you pull the bottom bolt from the engine and shut the camera off just prior to reinstalling the front left cylinder head bolt? I'll bet because you had to damn near remove the whole engine to get that damn thing back in and did not want to show that. The next shot shows it in and you then move the other side of the bike. Your video does not give us the complete info needed.
