I think your placement is where you want them for your boat. If lower you would get drag interference with the water at speed. Perhaps someone with just a narrow little fishing boat that doesn't care about water drag may place them a bit lower? I think it's an individual boat need and preference. Thanks for sharing. Damn, I live near Riverhead, but I've never ridden there. This looks awesome. I just finished rebuilding my bike and went for my first ride in 6 years over the weekend at woodhill. I was too unfit but kept riding anyway, almost a week later and I can still barely walk my thighs are so sore, lol. I see there is a Riverhead trail ride this weekend, I guess I won't be making that, but hopefully I'll catch the next one.

You have unrestricted map in your ecu in 250f? Have you removed just the foam prefilter or fully open the airbox by removing also the plastic , transparent cover?
